change of pace cover

Aha. My present from UPS today was a box of my author's copies of the upcoming Baen reprint of Shards of Honor, due to hit stores November 3rd, straight from the printer. A slim but very clean trade paperback.

front:

and the back:

It's been a long time since that started-it-all title was available as a single volume. I'm very glad to see it back in print. Barrayar is supposed to follow in January, so both Cordelia books should be on deck in time for Gentleman Jole and the Red Queen in February.

Eleanor With Cats I like Cordelia's half-smile on the classic cover, but I like the Cordelia on this cover too.

CatBookMom So glad to see reprints. As one of the quotes in the books says, people have re-read their old copies so often they're falling apart.

Woman Who Weaves Very Baen-esque, which for some reason amuses me very much. I like the colors as well.

Next printing, maybe, if there is one.
