I don't know if it's the angle - she looks so tiny in the first pic... aww.

Hah! My sister looked better immediately after delivering than I look when I've primped.

@ Courtney -- she's pretty small, but maybe I just have enormous fingers. ;)
@ Tadiana and Miriam -- yes, my wife does all right for herself even after labor! :)

I figured it was the best way to send her down the path to dorkdom.

Well, after having both Egon and Sherlock shot down as names for my son, I figured I didn't have a chance of getting anything like Shadowcat or Ms. Marvel through this time around...

I think you're confusing "delicious" with "not dissimilar from the experience of biting into a rancid hockey puck filled with the wriggling guts of a Tauntaun" again, Anne.

And you made a gnome? Judging by her hat in the first picture, she's a gnome. I didn't know that was even possible! Just when I thought you couldn't be a more awesome daughter, you bring forth adorable little gnomes. This is why you're my favorite child.
In seriousness: Congratulations on your new, big family! Hello, Hannah!

But the important thing to remember is that he named her after me...grandma.

Delicious...disgusting...diarrhea...it's all the same thing.

The minute I saw her name, I was all, "Oh, Anne is gonna be ALL over this, like crazy on glue...Kragle."

(And thanks, Ma...I do try to be a dutiful, gnome-producing daughter.)

Always! LOL
Congrats !!!! Beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But he named her after me. Very important. Don't forget it in your haste to ogle to adorable baby.

YEAH! Take that, ANNE.
And fingers crossed that the nose continues to be Jess's, Karlington...after all, mine was nice and small for years. And then it exploded all over my face.

I will cross my fingers for baby Hannah too..... because as sophisticated as that rather large proboscis is on your mug... I don't wish it on your wee she-spawn

Anne, is "Hannah" synonymous with "Anne" somewhere in your brain? :p

Well, I just didn't think!
Dammit! I'm going there now...prepare to accept my request.

That's how it happened for my dad. Us kids used to live in fear of having the giant nose happen to us.

It's my last name! Obviously, this is why he named his little girl Hannah. OBVIOUSLY!

Bwhahahahaha!

@Anne -- Request accepted, but ONLY BECAUSE I AM A BENEVOLENT OVERLORD. Also, I may just have to call you by your last name from now on. Love me some palindromes.
@Tadiana -- How old are your kids? I feel like mine didn't really come into its own until the early teen years...

21, 19, 17 and 13. The three older ones should be safe at this point. The 13 year old has a nice nose now but we'll have to see what puberty does to him. :D

There will be a character in my next book with "knobby and beefy" legs...hahaha! Brilliant.

my sister got my dad's big hawk-looking Italian nose, but it works for her. Mom and I have the slim German nose :)

I mean, of course, there are cases in which that is not true, but, overall, yes, I think big noses are awesome.

And *snickers*, I will look forward to seeing my legs in your next book.

Ha! This whole mother/daughter dynamic just got way more awkward, Erica, now that we know about your nose fetish.
Are you available to cover model, Karly? :)
