Book launch of Adventures of Faerie folk

I can't believe it's Monday after the book launch. You know how it is when you wait for something, organise and hope it goes well - and then it does. All that adrenalin and anxiety beforehand evaporates and in it's place is joy and pride that people came. I met some wonderful ladies and gents who engaged in a lovely discussion on books and how to expand into audible books, which is something I'd love to do, but money is always the problem. We talked about faeries and the magic of nature. We talked about the storytelling and art workshop that Marina and I are trying to get going to encourage children to see the magic outside and find their own creativity. The next one will be at Brimstage Hall on the 31st July 11am - 1pm £5 per child for an hour each session.
We sold books, faerie cards and posters whilst enjoying hot drinks, juice and homemade cookies in a beautiful conservatory that looks out onto the garden full of colour and scent. It did rain on and off, but that only added to the magic and the smell of lavender that wafted into the room.
The faeries were truly with us that day on Midsummer's eve and we await to see where the next adventure leads ...
