It looks nice but not too congruent with the story.
It's lovely artwork, but I wish Cordelia was also standing. I've seen too many book covers with the woman in a sitting or crouching position next to a standing man!
Cordelia is not looking up to Aral. Her height is not apparent. And they are each looking away from each other (which can disguise that it's a love story, but did they know it was at that stage? It's hard to say, I am not placing the scene).
I'm seeing the author's name wrapping around, and the characters on the back cover. Is that correct?
I just finished my yearly re-reading of Cordelia's Honor. Still so enjoyable.
I'm still trying to figure out what I think. The picture is very nice, but I sure don't remember Aral with his shirt off in the book, or with such a big gun. Nice muscles, I guess.... And all the space-agey buildings and ships - is this supposed to be from when he retakes his ship? Nice base they got there, in that case, and boy, his General Vorkraft sure is big... (I think I like the bubbles picture better)
