The ghost is wearing jeans and converse? It must have escaped from an R.L. Stine Goosebumps novel. Ghost Camp or something.

What people usually don't know is that Tim Jacobus, illustrator of Goosebumps covers, had a contract with Converse advertising for them while he was working for Stine/Scholastic. Converse on the brain, you know. I don't know whether it was subtle advertising on his part or if he didn't get paid and just did it for fun.
I didn't know that! That explains all the high top sneakers on the cover art.Wow, thanks for sharing that, Carmen. The more you know, I guess! How on earth did you find out about that?
Remember when I was reading all the Goosebumps books in order? (I still got about 5 to bang out but my friend's collection has holes and I'm going to have to ILL at the library to complete the gaps) ANYWAY. I did a lot of reading about Goosebumps and Stine and Jacobus and what they were up to. It was fun. Jacobus has some beautiful art on his website, and he mentions the Converse deal there - or I could have found it somewhere else... that was too long ago for my memory to 100% accurate. Here's the link:http://www.timjacobus.com/
How could I forget? Do you know how much nostalgia you were responsible for, Carmen? Do you? That's really awesome. You know, he wrote a memoir.
How could I forget? Do you know how much nostalgia you were responsible for, Carmen? Do you?LOL Glad to help you run down memory lane, Nens.
Thanks for the memoir link! Super-awesome! I'll have to check it out.
@Carmen: His memoir really reminded me of Stephen King's. They had a similar history.@Karen: HAHA. That's some primo photoshop right there. Although I do love good m/m.

Not sure if it's good but the cover is definitely prettier ;)
