We have an obligation to change language, not to preserve it

We have an obligation to change language, not to preserve it. Stop force teaching dying languages. Language is for communication, for making ourselves understood. Speaking more than one language might make us smarter but learning a dying language has little to do with communication and more to do with preservation and dying peacefully is a right.
