Artificial Reef Made from Real People

An artist is creating an artificial reef off the east coast of Mexico. Ho-hum. But it's made from the life-size concrete casts from actual people. Wow!

Jason de Caires calls his project the Museo Subacuatico de Arte. Although this is a resort area filled with snorkeling tourists, all the casts are made from local Mexicans...and they're into reading!
