Taking a chance on life and flowing with it
So, it's been a few weeks since I took a leap of faith and dived into the abyss of publishing and I have signed up with Christine F Anderson publishing and Media.
I know I kept it to myself, but frankly, not had the support I'd hoped for. It's been more of a "Oh, yeah, well, that's great, hope it works out for you..."
Let's just say, it hurt like hell. However, I had a reading by a friend of mine who told me months ago that I'd be a star, but it wouldn't happen with lights flashing and excitable frenzy, but fairly calmly and casual like and I'd be, "Yeah, here I am world, so enjoy.." Laid back and accepting my stardom with decorum!
So, that's what I'm attempting to do without exploding the champagne all over myself!!!
At present we are collaborating on 'Echoes' and re-working the cover, possibly my website and will re-launch it this year.
All of this is new to me as I await each e-mail and ponder our first 'skype' session. Working with someone I've never met, who lives the other side of the world (America) is a huge undertaking of trust and one I felt I must try. But one I must do alone, at least for now anyway and hope that those who aren't as excited about this jump as I am will quickly catch up once they see Christine is a human to be trusted.
