Petition to Get Terrorscape Unbanned from Amazon

One of my readers made a petition on change.org to get Terrorscape unbanned from Amazon.

Please sign it and spread the word if you can! It would be so awesome to be able to sell Terrorscape on Amazon again. ♥

Thank you so much!

I think it must be pretty frightening to publish a book. You are showing the world a side of yourself, of what your mind created and I do understand why you would be depressed if it got rejected. But see, not everyone rejected your work, maybe just a drunk guy over at amazon that has the task of banning a book every once in a while in order to look like he's doing his job and that job is not completely useless.

lol, no, I just spread the word. She did that all on her own. Sarah's nice like that :D .

Nenia Campbell She is nice! <3

message 56: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi Signed!

I haven't read Terrorscope yet, but I liked Fearscape and am going to read the rest of the series.

I just don't understand why Amazon did it.

@Tessa, thanks for sending me a message about this petition :)

It is a little scary but I'm pretty much over it now that I've published twelve books and am currently working on my thirteenth. Waiting for the initial feedback is probably the scariest but once the first wave of reviews come in I am fine again because it's never as bad as I fear (all one-stars! forever! also, getting kicked off the internet because I suck so much!).

I hope that's not the case. :(

Thanks for your interest in my books, Rachmi, and thanks for signing the petition! I'm so happy you enjoyed Fearscape. It's always nice to be able to connect with my readers because then I can tell them how grateful I am. <3 Hope you enjoy the other books in the series. :)

Thank you for signing it, Rachmi. :)

message 60: by Yzabel (new)

Yzabel Ginsberg Granted, I haven't read it. But if 50 Shades Of Crap and The Egde Of I Can't Even are being sold there, it means their standards are already so screwed up that they have no business deciding what to ban and not ban.

message 61: by Nenia (new)

Nenia Campbell You didn't like the Edge of Never either then? What a relief. I am slowly but surely happening upon that small niche of people who feel the same way about that book as I do. :)

Thanks for signing the petition. <3

Oh hell no. Took me 3 weeks to wade through it, because the characters were just so infuriating. "You have to let me own you." FFS. If it were coming from a character presented as a douche? OK. But don't try to sell me this as Wonderful Guy and True Wuv. Also, dumb Camryn is dumb. -_-

message 65: by Hallie (new)

Hallie It seems every new book out there has a zillionaire who's is handsome and a complete douche! But that's ok because they had a traumatic life which makes it ok for them to treat women like animals...and the amount of people buying these books is beyond ridiculous!!

Camryn is so dumb. And the rape jokes and serial killer jokes made me rage.

It is really something. There's an insane market for it. People just can't get enough. -_-

Emily I made this petition with the goal of 100 signatures, but you all are so amazing that we surpassed that before the 24 hour mark! Thank you again, BTW! Therefore, what should the new goal be? 200 signatures? See how many people sign in a week? I have already shared my thoughts on this matter with Amazon before starting this petition, and planned to follow up by bringing attention to it. Any suggestions for a new goal?

message 73: by Nenia (new)

Nenia Campbell 143 people have signed now! :D

message 74: by Emily (new)

Emily We have hit 150 in the first day! Thank you to everyone who helped. Each supporter makes a difference.

Veronica-Lynn Pit Bull I signed. I don't even think a live person ever read the book and made a decision. There's nothing "ban-able" about it.

Thank you so much, Jazzy! I wondered the same thing when I first found out about the book's banning and it sure is reassuring hearing other people say the same. <3

What number are we aiming for?

message 82: by Emily (new)

Emily When I started it I was hoping for 100, but that happen so fast, lol! I put up a post for what the new goal should be, but did not hear anything. Change.org has set a new goal for 200, so maybe that works? I don't know, I'd love suggestions. :-)

You're very welcome! I think we have all been in situations like this were something is simply just unfair, and it can make you feel almost picked on. At times like that we need others to stand up with us, and I am happy to oblige. Along with 100s of others based on the signatures, lol!

I think after 500 votes the author should write a public request to Amazon for her book to be unbanned and to have this petition as a backup for it :) .

message 86: by Emily (new)

Emily We have passed 200!!! Now at 207! Thank you for the support.

500 supporters would be so AMAZING! With how awesome the response has been I think we can get there!
