How did you do your research for (view spoiler) in Tantalized and was professor Delacroix based on one or more real persons?
How do you balance between reviewing and writing? Do you not sleep... ever? How do ideas for a book come to you? In dreams, in the news, etc?
What is the longest time it took you to publish a book? And the shortest time? And on average?
I have lots of questions, so feel free to, you know, tell me to shut up cos I'm taking more than my share. Do you only work on the story you're writing at any one time, or do you also write ficlets/small pieces of nonsense that function to you as kind of a refreshing sorbet?
Do you keep a physical notebook for ideas, or do you have a word doc/evernote file etc?
Best place for random ideas: the shower/driving/at the movies/where else?
How many hours a day do you write for? In one block, or split up? Is there a maximum time you can write, and after which you find you are not productive? Morning, evening, other?
Do you make yourself write every day? What do you do when you just don't feel like it?
Are you open with your friends and family about writing?
Best place to write?
Do you write on holiday too, or do you take a break if you go away?
Have you done any writing courses? Or did you already do creative writing at college?
When you write do you like silence/TV/DVD/music (playlists??)
Do you drink alcohol when you write?
Also, do you have an overall plan, a list of goals for the year? Do you think, "In 2014 I shall write 3 x books 50,000 words+" or do you wing it and see what you produce?
When/how did you come to the conclusion that you liked to write dark stuff?I'd also like to know how much your family knows about what you write and if they read your books.
And nobody asked the favourite pony question yet although you use so many beautiful gifs ;) ?Or if we may call you Ne-chan?
Ok, back to serious stuff:
Since you got a bit trouble with publishing all parts of the Horrorscape series on Amazon, did you consider to go to another publisher saying "This series is running & selling, please make a giant limited Hardcover out of it." or something like that.
You may call me Ne-Chan, if you want. I think that's cute. ^_^Heh. The problem is, I'm an independent author, so the production costs of producing hard copies of my books are very high since the demand is fairly low. The price of the books was pretty expensive, more so than trade paperbacks, and I only received a very small amount of it in royalties (or sometimes nothing at all).
That's one of the reasons I would love to be picked up by a publishing house. I would finally have ARCs to give out and sign. :3

What aspect of being an indie writer do you enjoy most, and what's the hardest part for you?
Also, did anyone else notice that it's *March* already? (Sorry. I guess that's not really a question. I was just kind of startled.)
