Extras from My New York Times Interview

As you may have seen, the New York Times just ran an interview of me (http://www.nytimes.com/2013/08/25/books/review/james-patterson-by-the-book.html). I told them everything from what books I think the President should read to which of my characters gives me the most pride. But not every piece of the interview made it into print. Want to see what didn’t?

18. What do you plan to read next? The rest of today’s Book Review. Speaking of which, why do you insist on publishing the bestseller list a week behind The Wall Street Journal and USA Today’s lists? That seems sillier than the bestseller list itself. Kind of like posting the sports scores ten days late.
