As you may have seen, the New York Times just ran an interview of me (http://www.nytimes.com/2013/08/25/books/review/james-patterson-by-the-book.html). I told them everything from what books I think the President should read to which of my characters gives me the most pride. But not every piece of the interview made it into print. That seems sillier than the bestseller list itself. Kind of like posting the sports scores ten days late.
