A quick Hi from me and the deadline dragon. Thanks for taking up the slack while I’m gone. Meanwhile, here is an interesting article about the most memorable fictional characters of all time. http://entertainment.time.com/2013/05...
I'm baffled by Sherlock Holmes not topping the list. I mean I get Robin Hood I guess, but Sherlock Holmes!
My very first memory of Holmes was when I was about five and I was watching Disney's "The Great Mouse Detective" and as far as I knew I had never really had any prior introduction to Sherlock, but I KNEW who it was supposed to be.
Holmes is that big.
And how the heck is King Arthur so low on the list?
My favourite Sherlock Holmes was played by Jeremy Brett. I watched it every week without fail and now have the DVD collection. I also enjoy the newer version with Robert Downey Jr. It's fun and good entertainment.
It is odd about King Arthur, especially as the TV show Merlin was such a hit.
Then James Bond? I can't stand him! Give me Jason Bourne!
