so, slacking off as usual, Ms Savva! I need a lie down after reading that lot! And before you despair of your stories being lost, there are companies and shops that can restore them for you. You should hopefully be able to get them back from computer or disk. Fingers crossed, as it would be a shame for your readers for them to be gone forever...Sooz

LOL, yes, I actually felt quite exhausted when I read over my writing goals... hopefully I can achieve most of them this year. I'm hoping that I can find a way to restore those stories; a couple of the titles reminded me what the stories were about and I'm keen to read them again... It would be a pity if they are lost. Those old floppy disks can get corrupted, I'm told :(
As an avid reader, you better keep your schedule!! And good luck on the old floppy disks, I had a client with his stories on old disks and we just couldn't make them work, I even got the help of a hardware guru and nothing. I ended up scanning the books page by page and then proofreading everything because the scanner does weird things with words.
Oh dear... I thought the floppy disk stories might be hard to recover. I'm sure that most of them were just old versions of stories that I have already published, but I know that at least a couple of them are stories that I don't have other copies of. I might have paper copies somewhere in my old boxes of manuscripts... I will have to dig them out!! I'll try to keep to my schedule, LOL. Have already fallen behind with the editing of the new short story collection because work is sooo busy at the moment! Must get back to it soon! :)
