It feels awful when you trusted your intuition and the job you thought you snagged was given to someone else.
Or, the you felt strongly that the person you were dating was “The One” and it turned out they weren’t. You can expect that if you live long enough, something will go seemingly wrong in your life despite all your best intentions and intuition! At those times, you still have to trust yourself to get back on track. How do you know that the thing you perceive as bad isn’t the very thing setting you up for something good?! You lost a job, but a better one came along. Your boyfriend broke up with you, but you learned self-love and self-reliance and opened yourself to an even greater love.
A good practice to use when you’re going through a difficult time is to find an affirmation to say to help you feel calm, “I am open to new possibilities.” “Life is taking me on a wonderful new path.” “Everything I’m experiencing is helping me.” “I want to feel calm and at peace.” After you’ve made these statements silently in your mind — wait. See what intuitive communications emerge.
