Queen by Candlelight

We had an unusual treat on Saturday – a concert featuring some of Queen’s greatest hits in the unexpected setting of Kendal parish church!

It’s part of a huge “candlelight” tour of the UK featuring different cover bands and groups in smaller, select venues – often churches – by candlelight.

And it was tremendous fun. Queen’s music is always foot-stompingly good, and the singers involved in this particular concert were excellent – even if it did take four of them to replicate Freddy Mercury...
