Don’t worry if your child is thin

Being thin is good if they are healthy and active

After your baby becomes a 1-year-old
The rate of weight gain becomes very slow.
But the height gain continues.
This is why your baby looks thin.

This is not a problem.

Reason 1
Being thin means your child can run around without getting tired.
Running around is important for their brain development

Reason 2
Being active builds your child’s core strength which ensures better balance.
This leads to their falling less and having fewer injuries

Reason 3
The lower weight means that the running and jumping do not strain your child’s growing bones
This is important for good skeletal health.
