I'm so sorry, Nenia. I hope you don't need anyone to tell you that you have made your father so proud. I don't think you need to try too hard to be who your father would have wanted you to be, as I believe you've already attained that accomplishment and he loved the person you've become.

May I direct you to “What Wondrous Love Is This,” a short gospel song written in 1811. I think you will find much consolation in the final verse. It fits the father you describe very well. You will find versions of this song all over YouTube. May I recommend the one by the Sunday 7pm Choir.

So sorry to hear that. I know how hard it is to lose someone you love. Words are no comfort during this time, but I hope you find solace in those closest to you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My brother passed away in 2011 from glioblastoma - it changes you on a fundamental level when you watch someone you love die. The feeling of helplessness never really goes away, but you do learn to live with it.

He was lucky to have you as a daughter, and you gave him everything he needed in life merely by existing!

Fuck cancer! It got my dad in 2013.
I hope you stay strong! I can't think of other words that might help, because words did not help me. My family and friends helped me. I'm thinking of you. >:D<
