A couple days ago on January 4, it was Perihelion Day!
(at least this year)
Now, perihelion day occurs about two weeks after every December Solstice, and on this day, Earth’s center is approximately 91,402,500 miles from the sun’s centre.
On that day our sun appears the largest in our sky as it will be for the entire year!
it is the day we here on earth and our wonderful sun are the closest we get to each other!
And many people liked that name for this bright yellow raku vase!
