Art For All

I always struggle to find a balance between valuing my work and keeping it accessible to people. That is why from time to time I offer some of my successful smaller test vases for purchase.

I’m pleased to offer these vases for $100USD, which includes shipping to Canada or the US in the hopes that this keeps my work accessible to more people. There are also a few pieces for $80USD.

I really believe art is for everyone.

Side By Side

Four forest friends, so wild, so free, bound by love and harmony.

Color, gender, who they love— it matters not, just hearts above.

Through rustling leaves and skies so wide,

They stand together

side by side.

We’ve got a few new forest friends for you to hop over and check out here:

In Bloom

Yesterday, I was in for a beautiful surprise after studio time.

My partner took some flower vase photos. This was his first time arranging flowers. I think he came up with some beautiful arrangements.

A ceramic vase with a smooth, light green glaze filled with a vibrant arrangement of blue flowers, pink buds, and lush green leaves against a plain background. A beautifully arranged flower vase featuring pink and yellow blooms with greenery, placed on a marble surface against a light-colored wall. A ceramic vase filled with a floral arrangement featuring white flowers, green leaves, and reddish foliage, set against a neutral background. A tall, textured ceramic vase in shades of purple with an arrangement of green leaves and small blue flowers, set on a marble surface against a plain background. Which one is your favourite?

Any ideas or tips?

Earth

Inspired by my spring gardening

Earth mugs are here! A handcrafted ceramic mug featuring a textured glaze with golden crystal accents.

These are the first in a four part elemental series of mugs (earth, air, water, fire).

I’m really pleased with all of the small golden crystals throughout the glaze.

Liminal Dreams

I am excited to share the start of a new series of works:
“Liminal Dreams.”

Liminal Dreams is a sculptural series that explores the threshold between perception and mystery—where light fades into shadow, matter bends into meaning, and the unseen becomes palpable. Drawing from the traditions of raku pottery and the vastness of our reality, each piece embodies a meditation on the forces—emotional, elemental, and cosmic—that shape our experience of existence.

I invite you to click on each sculpture to see more of each work, and their particular meaning.

Axion A metal drum filled with burning newspapers and a few charred objects, producing bright flames and smoke. Close-up of a sculptural piece from the 'Liminal Dreams' series, featuring intertwined metallic forms and a shiny blue-green sphere, highlighting the interplay of texture and color.

This series invites viewers into a space between—where the boundaries blur, and the dream of understanding begins.

Entanglement (SOLD) Close-up of a sculptural piece from the 'Liminal Dreams' series, showcasing metallic hues of blue, copper, and iridescent finishes. A close-up view of a metal barrel filled with flames and burning materials.

Through interwoven forms and fractured glazes, Liminal Dreams evokes the quiet tension of being intertwined, the ephemeral play of light and dark, and the invisible currents that connect all things.

Success!

I am so happy that this piece survived yesterday’s raku firing! 🔥

I have decided to call it

“Penumbra.”

because of the way it plays with light and shadow.

How do you like it?

Art Making In Uncertain Times

There’s definitely been a lot of uncertainty in the world lately.

With everything going on, I completely understand that art may not always feel like a priority. When people are focused on big, real-world concerns, creative pursuits can sometimes feel secondary or even frivolous.

But even so, I’m still here — creating.

Art has always been a way to process, to connect, and to endure through the unknown. It’s a quiet act of hope, even when everything around us feels unsettled. I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but I do know that making things with my hands keeps me grounded. It reminds me that even in uncertain times, beauty, expression, and small moments of wonder still matter.

A collection of six uniquely shaped and colored vases, each displayed with their names: Cosmic Forge, Brahmanda, Twinflames, Calypso's Embrace, Ashes of Eta, and Hera's Heart. These are a few of my one-of-a-kind raku vessels currently available and if you could help me find them a home with a like or share, I’d be grateful

You can see these vases – and more – here.

Which one of the above vases would you say is your favourite?

Thank you for being here with me, for supporting my creative journey, and for valuing art — even and especially now.

The Season Of Spring

Spring is waking up all around us—the flowers are pushing through the soil, the trees are budding, and the snow is finally melting away (mostly). We’ve been busy in the studio, tidying up and making space for new work… which means it’s time for our Spring Sale!

You’ll find a wide variety of pieces, including mugs, vases, sculptures, and a few surprises that have never been released before.

[image error] Crystallizing New Ideas

Winter was a season of quiet focus and experimentation in the studio. As you know, we specialize in raku pottery, and we’ve continued exploring new glaze effects—like the one on this vase, which reminds me of dragon skin. We’ve also been diving into crystalline pottery, and you can see more of that work here.

Another exciting expansion has been our line of wearable art, featuring woodland creatures and shimmering crystalline Buddhas. Some of the most joyful moments this winter have come from creating lidded vessels that blend wheel-thrown forms with sculpted details—a satisfying meeting of structure and imagination.

Looking Ahead

Right now, we’re working on a series of three sculptures exploring movement, balance, and flow. The finished pieces will be revealed soon—but for now, here’s a little sneak peek! We also have more exciting work on the horizon for spring and summer, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Thank you for being part of our journey and supporting our small studio—it truly means the world. Wishing you a beautiful, inspiring spring!
