Checking Out Authors on Amazon By Susan Hanniford Crowley

My sweet YA vampire romance set in New York City and my sweet YA dragon romance set in Scotland are both filled with danger, intrigue, courage, and love.

Today while you’re last-minute shopping, I want to tell you what there is to see on an Author’s Page on Amazon. If you love a particular author, you don’t have to hunt everywhere for every title. Just go to his or her or their page. Here’s my page so you can see what I mean. To get there, I typed into Google – Susan Hanniford Crowley Amazon Author Page.

The first thing you will notice is their photo. That’s my last formal author photo before cancer. My hair is past my shoulders now.

Under the photo is the Follow button. Click that and Amazon will automatically email you when there is a new release and with recommendations. I personally love the Follow button and have clicked it for authors I read.

Under the photo is the bio. It’s a word snapshot of what that author has to say about their life.

Next to both is a carousel of books. This shows all the author’s books. Mine shows the covers of my 11 novels plus 3 fantasy anthologies I had a story or novella in. If you’re looking for all the author’s books, this is where you want to be. By putting my cursor (arrow or hand) on a book, a pop-up will appear. Click on the book’s name and you will go to the book’s page with all the details about it. This is a lovely way to fill in your collection. I found the carousel to have the complete listing which is what you want.

Below the carousel of books is a section called Author Updates. There is a larger photo of me and also snippets of blog entries from my blog Nights of Passion which actually covers a large range of topics written by writers Toni Kelly, Artemis Crow, and me. You can click the READ MORE if you like.

Under that is Author Titles set up by All Formats, Kindle, and Paperback. It’s a repeat in another way from the book carousel. I find the carousel to be more complete and easier to use.

I figure this way you can find what you want easier. With all the stress in our lives, finding something easy is welcome.
