Hm, maybe a good time to remind folks of The Assassins of Thasalon audio edition. I'll add a link to the post above.

Huh. I'm not either. The list of 6 was sent in just a couple of weeks after the e-novella went up.
I thought this stuff refreshed automagically now... I'll have to cross-check.
If not, I don't know how to force a refresh. Does anyone else?
Ta, L.
(...For the curious who want to check, there's a typo in the first sentence, a missing "the" before "duke of Orbas decamped" Or possibly not, depending on one's edition.)

Be aware, if you don't know already, "Knot of Shadows" is a bit darker than the average Pen & Des. Not that you can't circle back to one of the others for a palate cleanser if needed.
Ta, L.

My e-handler reports the changes were definitely uploaded. Supposedly, if there is an update available, there should be a button to click on one's "manage content and devices" screen. I'm not seeing one for this title on mine, though.
I wonder if anyone who bought the title later on got the updated version or not?
Puzzled, L.

I've just checked for updates and there isn't one - I still have the missing "the" on the first page. I had updates for other titles (not yours) though.

"We only send customers updates to serious quality issues. Sending customers updated content may erase notes or highlights they entered, so the improvements must outweigh the disadvantages. We won't accept your request if you:
Added, deleted, or changed words, sentences, pages, chapters, or images that are not related to quality issues.
Changed a character's name or your eBook's plot.
Added, deleted, or changed links or marketing information
Made significant changes that warrant a new edition."
I have no idea how any of this applies to Nook or Apple Books editions. Anybody have those who can report?
Ta, L.

And I have never made notes or highlights to an eBook in my life. Didn't make many in books, even text books during university.
Anyone have any idea how users can express their feelings to Amazon on this issue?

"We only send customers updates to serious quality issues. Sending customers updated..."
I don't suppose it's worth noting that a typo fix does not usually affect whatever underlines people might do (admittedly I don't so I'm not that good a judge)

And... it worked. I didn't delete first, but I went into "Content and Devices" and it informed me of the update. Got it, restarted my desktop-kindle, and the fixes are in!

Yay!
L.
Later, checked my own edition; the update button was there in the "content & devices" list, and it worked.
A duplicate line in Barrayar, relic of a late editing pass, also got fixed. Glad I spotted that one! That volume did not show an update button, but I kludged around deleting it from my device and reloading, and the correction eventually came through.
I have no idea what Nook and Apple Books readers are getting, though. ???
