It is set just before the disastrous battle of Culloden in Scotland in 1746 as we see a young, nameless boy survive being abandoned, how his life changes when rescued by a kind stranger and whom he meets in a tavern.
people are telling me they find the story powerful. Another nameless orphan who finds life, just as Scotland is devastated by war.
