May and ALL it entails!?
Good afternoon, Blessed Beltane, Happy Easter, Blessings of Ostera and so much more, seems I haven't updated my blog since Yule last year!
But, wow! Since then, what has happened to the world?
We're all living within a new world of family, closeness, lock down, new regimes, inner self and so much more - so long as there's space between us? Some are finding this existence difficult and my heart goes out to you, truly. Others, may have found a new journey that is bringing them an inner joy they hadn't expected - to you I say, fabulous.
Myself, well, if you know me at all either personal or through my blogs, you know I do not believe in merely existing, so I continue to truly live and enjoy LIFE ;)
I am over half way through my ten book deal, narrating the classics of Jane Austin, Bronte, Agatha Christie and more. It is certainly a truly weird and sometimes, almost, an unreal reality, when I step from one world, into another. Jumping from Bronte, to Austin, to Wilde, back to Austin, then Christie and back to Austin has been a roller coaster of regency dresses, spy thrillers and wild plays!!
I even began writing again. I am almost finished writing the first draft of my sixth novel. It is lovely to re-enter that fantasy, paranormal world and say hello to the characters I hadn't touched for over six months :(
I am offering a May Book Sale. Send payment to Paypal with the book(s) you want, name, address and if you're in UK, free postage as well as discount on books.

My husband is a delivery driver, now known as a 'Key Worker', which is bizarre for him as nobody had ever really taken much notice of the man who delivered their parcels, but suddenly, he is special, considered a hero and praised, by the public at least. His bosses and the government have refused to acknowledge his sacrifices. No pay rise. No gloves. No mask. But at least people on twitter have thanked him and those like him. I hope you remember the stress and possibilities of catching the virus that he endures when this is all over?
So, needless to say, our lives continue more or less as before. Our daughter is with us half the week and then we support her at her flat the other half so there is no cross contamination with support staff.
We miss our long weekend walks at various locations around Wales and England. We miss our friends, and I miss my Dad and Step Mum, but life keeps going and we find the joy within it.
We had a mini festival on Friday! That was pretty groovy and lots of fun. The week before that we had a Beltane party to celebrate the coming of Summer with dancing, singing, lots of music and party food.
When I walk every day, I truly look at nature around me and really see the beauty, smell the air, the grass, the blossom. Feel the sun on my skin, the breeze in my hair, the rain, soaking my clothes.
Live. be the life you want to enjoy.
Love and blessings
