Andy Cool. I'll buy that issue to support them getting good interviews...

Jonathan Palfrey Glad to hear that you have at least the desire to write two more Penric stories, albeit without deadline.

Peter Tillman Very nice interview! Kudos to Clarkesworld for running it. And, of course, to the principal! 🚀 💃 ❤️

Macular pucker, wow. I've always had a horror of going blind! Well, beats being dead.... 👴 Now I can better appreciate your interest in manga & such!

Interesting to read your comments on contributing to GR -- which pretty much match mine. I've always read a LOT, and for many years tried to keep track -- but GR makes it easier, and why not share? I don't remember you at USENET's fabled rasfw, but I treasured interacting with Jo Walton, Charlie Stross, WJW & others. Not to mention, inflicting my SF book opinions on all & sundry! Most of those, I've transposed here -- but they keep turning up, in old files & random memories. Part of getting old, I think -- more time spent looking back than forward... 💀

So, thank you for reminescing, and looking forward. May your story-well never run dry!

Marilyn Wow Lois, I am so glad I read that interview. I always enjoy your explanations and your way with words in general. (I stated in my review of *Sidelines* that I would probably give 3 stars to your grocery list.) That said I want to thank you for the words "macular pucker." I looked it up and found it's a different condition from AMD which is what I have been told I had. The Capcha description really nailed it. I found a bit of good news in that it isn't necessarly progressive and generally doesn't spread to the other eye. I'll hope. Meanwhile the injections keep the wet degeneration under control. I just downloaded your latest Penric novella and thank you for that as well. Take care.

Nestor Long time reader - discovered your books in the 90s in a Dublin University library (A professor who passed away donated his sci fi collection).

If you enjoy manga and reading online, I'd recommend you check out the webcomic Unsounded by Ashley Cope - it's a long running fantasy adventure with gorgeous art and even better writing.
