Thursday, 13th June -- YEA -- it's back in the 60's today, no more sweltering-- Lots of stuff to do before leaving EARLY Saturday a.m. for the Outer Banks. You all know where the Outer Banks is (or OBX as it's called, if you're cool), right? Okay, off the coast of North Carolina, the barrier islands, a skinny string that take the brunt of hurricanes that happen to come their way. It's where Kitty Hawk is -- The Wright brothers -- and I'm sure you've heard of the Cape Hatteras light house -- they actually moved the sucker some 15 years ago back from the Atlantic -- it's a fabulous place, the only place really in the U.S. if you and your family want to beach it for a week and rent a house or houses -- We're expecting 50 plus people this year, four houses, utter insanity -- will be great.
Sometimes the wifi is great, sometimes it sucks -- we'll see. All of you, if you're able, get outside and walk, run, dance along -- and be sure to belt out lovely songs. When people pass you, they'll either start singing with you or they'll smile really big. Do give it a try --

Update on BOMBSHELL, the 17th FBI Thriller: I'm nearly finished with the edit. The cover is very cool, explodes with eye-popping color. BOMBSHELL is set in Maestro, Va., (the setting of the 10th FBI thriller, POINT BLANK) and in Washington.
JEWEL OF THE LION (first thriller in A Brit in the FBI series partnered with J.T. Ellison). JEWEL moves fast and you don't know what's going to happen on the next page, and you're biting your toenails or a zombie's toenails. J.T. is an excellent plotter and that means when we brainstorm no plot gets left behind.
Alas, no kids want candy enough to crawl up our oxygen-deprived steep driveway, and the sad thing is, I still have a big bowl of candy, every year, but no one comes, not even the zombies with brain bags.
Take care, Catherine
