Shifting sands of blame seeking out faults
Happens naturally like dust blowing in the wind
Settles in low areas never high on top
Blame goes to those least able to defend themselves

Passive defense by the strong able to shoulder responsibilities
Ostriches never stick their heads in the sand
Humans claims a lot of things including intelligence
People stick their heads in the sand all the time
Claiming that ostriches do it

Tens of thousands of years ago gods mostly sexless
Powers nothing in common with the ordinary man
Over time giving them humanly appetites just like us
Playing in leveled playing fields soap opera antics
Now something people could dream about
Something they could do and write about

If Leda and the swan wasn’t about any gods
And the only creation is that which mankind built
Never leaving natural Earth the way we find it
Once trod upon by mankind no turning back

People claim god given rights to endless plunder
Gods we wrote up ourselves lock stock and barrel
Giving them humanly features making them just like us
Crying claiming no victims here it’s nature way

From all those glories logical equations interpretations
Behavior towards nonhuman bounds never judged
All falls completely apart when gods are removed
Leaving only mankind left holding the smoking guns
