Glad you can see that context is important with terms of endearment. It's a gift.

You did a book. Gotta see.

I did! I'll message you about it!

Got the message, but GR does not allow me to reply or even send PM's. How to say? I'm afraid it would offend AG, and even stop him from sending me all his stuff free.

Do you have any idea what he meant with that dog photo?

Grumpy Gramps

So weird! Well, I'll get your email from AG.
Bahaha I had an idea, but you'll have to ask him.

Excellent. I'm pretty sure I can explain how they do this in an attempt to discourage fake accounts, but it's along boring techie story.

Congratulations!!!!

Sometimes a tad of elaboration helps. In the words of Jeff; "Whut?"

Being off the web I didn't do any recently, but I just set up a few freebies on Amazon. One of them is "Blasé Eight," and I think there's a shot that MJ and the people in the maximalist po-mo group might actually like the only book which has ever outdone "Infinite Jest."

message 23: by India (new)

India BlairB wrote: "Hi. Quiet today. Isn't India's little book just great?."

You gave me such a great review! Thank you so much! <3

India wrote; "You gave me such a great review! Thank you so much! "

Just wrote what I thought it deserved with a bit of difficulty. It was hard to be precise as the emotion conveyed transcends words.

Thank you, lady.

That means so much to me.<3

Would you believe this? After having praised Amazon et al, I tried to post "Wilbur" today. No problem with the e version, but CreateSpace now refers you to KDP for the hard copy. And the shit doesn't work.

It would seem to me that if they want to consolidate, it would be easy to copy CreateSpace's stuff onto KDP. But no, that would be logical.

Still, Amazon et al has its faults, but all its competitors have worse ones. So, they're the highest grade in the room.

Did anyone else see the Bezos interview? I was totally surprised and intrigued. He doesn't follow the daily price swings at all, and has this great idea about creativity coming from someone technically proficient, but still retaining a novice's ability to look at things freshly. He was getting into this when the station just cut him while he was still speaking.

TV is fucking useless.

Johnny Scarlotti ^ nobody is going to read that u doofus

Doofus lol what a funny word

Arthur Graham wtf is going on

message 30: by [deleted user] (last edited Sep 26, 2018 12:38PM) (new)

It's your thread. Don't ask me. You bear the full burden of acclaim or fault; that largely a function of the evaluator's preferred TV channel.

India Arthur wrote: "wtf is going on"

BlairB wrote: "It's your thread. Don't ask me."

Yea, doofus, it's your thread.

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

India, my cherished grand-daughter; you are much too kind.

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

India wrote; "Yea, doofus, it's your thread."

It seems to me as if AG is not a hands-on manager. Is that true?

He does just fine with his hands.😏😈

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

Got corrected "Wilbur" available in e and physical form. Not entirely sure, but it seemed as if under the new KDP setup it is easier to start over rather than try to correct something.

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

Already. Sigh. I was being pretty good and all of that, but sarcasm or irony is totally out of the repertoire of some Goodreaders; two today. You know, the site itself is better than its competitors. But, I guess that the philosophy of allowing a relatively high degree of free speech also results in allowing assholes to join and post.

I know what you're going to say; so don't bother. Jeff's last book did show some evidence of his being sentient.

India's book. WOW! It's not only me, but last I looked 10 unanimous five star ratings with 6 reviews. I don't think I've ever seen that happen before.

So whoever may tread here, do yourself a favor and click on "a brand new website" and see it for yourself.

This last 7-10 days have been packed with more surprises for me than when I discovered that girls like to do it.

John D. Robinson speaks like a normal person. If you don't believe me check the interview on HST.

Classical music and chardonnay? I was expecting the Sub-Humans and crank.

If you read this, John, please accept my humble apologies for confusing you with Scarlotti. But, you know, you are wrong about one thing. Poetry is a hell of a lot harder to write than prose.
