The Warrior's Apprentice makes it to Overdrive

Last, but by no means least, of our five trial entries.

The whole set may also be seen:

Now let's see what happens. Which will take months, I expect.

Noting again, since these are not new releases with new-release publicity pushes and reviews, the only way they will come to the attention of most purchasing librarians is through patron requests. So if you want them to appear in a library near you, you will likely need to ask.

Lowell larger public library systems have a "request book purchase" online form that can be filled out by library members.

I've requested the book be purchased by both Seattle Public Libraries and King County Public Libraries.

Lee So excited to read this! I've just put a copy of each on order for our consortium; you should see the sales by the end of the month. Thanks for making the effort; I'll do my best to boost the signal to all the librarians I know.

Jerri The library where I volunteer has just bought all 5, on my recommendation. I checked out The Spirit Ring. If they do well, it would be great of the rest of the Penric's could be added, and Flowers, so that library patrons who can't afford to purchase their own copies can enjoy.

Speaking of which, for the tiny library where I volunteer, the third physical copy of Shards of Honor is currently on order, since the first copy I donated years ago went missing, then I bought a new replacement copy a few weeks ago, as part of a program to upgrade/fill in gaps in our SF collection and the first time it was checked out a dog chewed it up badly. I hope this copy stays in circulation longer. This is one danger eCopies don't run.

Thanks for your recs!

Note that all my ebooks are widely available for very modest sums. Plus, of course, the tech to support them, not so modest for many. But anyone who could borrow a library ebook somehow has the tech, so availability is not the same issue as it is for people who, for whatever reason, are limited to paper-only.

ReadingReader Hello, Lois. Not sure where to put this, but someone on the reddit sub dedicated to fantasy posted a few days ago about how you saved him/her from mental illness:

Apparently, your books are excellent for bibliotheraphy!

Lucy Done & done! Now if BARRAYAR and the rest of the 'Vorkosigan Saga' titles could be made available in eBook on OverDrive - it would be fantastic! Have had customer's asking about these in eBook format for a long time. Keeping fingers crossed.
