Summer time and the living is E.Z
How beautiful we have been having it in Ireland, average temperatures in the 20's and everyone getting a little more than a fair share of sunshine.
When the sun is shinning everyone starts feeling fine, groovy or playful and full of joy.
It is not the usual weather Patten for us here in Ireland and for the recent weeks we get a little hint of how it might just be on the lovely California coast.
To say the least we are enjoying it.
Leave our cares behind us, put aside the mundane and smell the beauty of life.
When the sun is shinning something happens to us inside, we care less and smile more. Happy to see friends, greet and meet even older friends we may not have seen for a while.
The pubs are full and the all round Irish spirit is hitting the high note along the entire coastline and the whole of our beautiful island.
Isn't it amazing what a little sunshine can do!
The slower pace of life seems to be contagious and it is on everybody's face. A relaxed tone, so happy to be warm and no rain for a while, not another country can be as beautiful as this right now. The gratitude for life starts infecting even the worst of the complainers, though there is probably a few just finding things a little too hot right now, well, it wouldn't be Ireland without a complaint or three thrown in.
We can learn a lot from the simple cycle of nature and this awesome weather that brings us to a gratitude level in life saved only for the days of scorching heat and blistering sunshine.
Remember this day, this weather and most of all that lovely feeling of just plain old simple content. Content with all aspects of our day, the uplift we get from seeing the brighter faces in the streets of even strangers walking by who are also in that carefree mode.
This is the feeling to cherish and remember, seeing it from this point of view in all of our life, adapt a little contentment into your life for the future, be it rain, hail or snow fall.
The crops in the fields are dancing in the light breeze while soaking up all that sun energy, take notice of how you feel right now and carry it with you all year.
Take notice of the fields and the flowers in bloom. Colours everywhere, nature thriving from the life given it by that ball of fire in the sky.
That's right, the sun is there for you to enjoy and fill your batteries.
So do it, take stock of it all, take for yourself that little moment in the day to recharge and enjoy a single moment of what it actually feels like to be full of life.
Give thanks for your life, a little gratitude for our family & friends .
We can start to question it all and wonder why it is now and why so happy and why things seem just easier.
OR
Enjoy it for what it is, take your moment today in the sun and be just one with your life. Just like the plants in the fields, take that moment and fill yourself with sunshine, fill up for the YEAR ahead.
LIFE is beautiful, enjoy it and live it.
