Uncle Hugo's has Mira -- signed!

I was pleased yesterday to find left in my front entryway the carton of author's copies of the brand-new "Mira's Last Dance" limited hardcovers from Subterranean Press. So it is very definitely In Print. And Uncle Hugo's received their order today, and owner Don brought out a carton for me to sign for their mail-order and in-store sales.

So you should be able to get a signed trade edition from them now. (The deluxe numbered leatherbounds come already signed.) It's a slim little volume, but very choice.

Note that I will be doing a signing in person at Hugo's on Saturday, July 14th at 1PM, mainly in honor of Mira.

(This scan is a little washed out in the reds. Penric looks healthier in the actual printed art.)

I do quite like that cover. But then, I am partial to blue.

Brzk Hello, Lois! On the subject of signed copies - Thank you very much for offering even more of your time for this. Last month I got my signed copy from Uncle Hugo (not Penric, another one of yours) and now it sits on my nightstand. I intend to keep it there. For ever. (Read countless times, hopefully needless to say).

Susan Are the other Penric books also available on paper? I bought them all for my e-reader (Nook) because I thought they were only in e-format. I much prefer paper books....

At present, Subterranean Press has done or will be doing all six Penric novellas as very nice limited edition hardcovers. "Penric's Demon" is sold out, and can only be found on the used market or though libraries, "Penric and the Shaman" is sold out in trade at the publisher but still available in leatherbound, "Mira's Last Dance" is just being released, and "The Prisoner of Limnos" should be along in about another half year.

I rec Uncle Hugo's Science Fiction Bookstore here in MPLS to find copies (they ship everywhere); also you might try Dreamhaven Books & Comics, ditto.

Thank you for the information - it looks as if I'm a little late to the party. I will check out your suggestions, though!
