Setup for this snippet: WIP from Heart and Soul. This is a snippet from my new 'rock star romance' that I'm working on. It's in the very early stages.
Last week: Maverick left Rowan and went inside his appartment. He couldn't help himself, he had to sneak a peek at his new manager as she walked to her car to retrieve her things.
This is Rowan's POV.

Maverick let the curtain fall and stepped back from the window. Had Rowan seen him watching her? The last thing he wanted was to make her feel uncomfortable, and yet here he was watching her like a stalker.
He rubbed his face as he inhaled deeply. What was with the woman that had him so intrigued? Heck, he couldn't remember the last time a woman had him all wound up. Thoughts of kissing her and taking her to bed kept inappropriately crossing his mind. He shifted uncomfortably. His jeans feeling a bit snug in one particular spot. He'd be taking a cold shower tonight.
