Setup for this snippet: WIP from Heart and Soul. This is a snippet from my new 'rock star romance' that I'm working on. It's in the very early stages.
Last week: Rowan thoughts are on the old photo she found at an antique shop.
This is Rowan's POV.

She peered closely at the photo on her laptop. She had scanned it; not wanting to take a chance the original would be lost or damaged. The couple was smiling as if they were having a wonderful night with promises of a great year to follow. However, the couple and the sign were irrelevant. It was where the photo had been taken that proved important.
The establishment may not have kept the original name but there was no mistaking that the couple had posed in front of what was now called the Heart and Soul.
"I'm finally home," she murmured to the smiling couple. The photo, that special moment in time had been the map that led her here.
