Knowing the author doesn't have control over the cover, I was wondering if you know why we Canadians didn't get a matching cover for This Fallen Prey with City of the Lost and A Darkness Absolute? I love to have my covers matching, and now they won't, and

Yeah, I know readers hate that. What happened is that I switched to a different imprint at the same publisher, one that does more mystery/thrillers, and they decided to start matching the US cover (and the US also switched to a new style of cover with this book) That’s what seems to happen early in a series, as they try to decide what cover best represents the books. I think I have about 8 English language covers for Bitten!

Craig Kingsman I think a publisher will sometimes change covers to grab the attention of new readers to the series.

Claire Yeah I feel this.. I was collecting her books with these style of covers Bitten But when Frostbitten was released they changed the art and as a consequence my collection now looks odd. All of the earlier books (save industrial magic) are in the old style and Frostbitten up is in the new style
