WE FOCUS ON ALL THE WRONG THINGS. We strive to outguess other investors, when simply collecting the market’s return is almost always more profitable. We pour our energies into improving our portfolio, when the time would be better spent on other areas of our financial life. We endeavor to amass ever more money, instead of taking the obvious step: figuring out how much would be enough.
