Angie Thompson Totally agree with your point about the 1-3 star reviews, Sarah! Often those are my most helpful resource (as a reader; I'm afraid I'll have a hard time remembering that as a writer). If the only criticisms are things like "the characters were wooden" or "the plot was too predictable" or "not enough description", then I'll usually pick it up and make my own judgment call. But if there are explicit scenes, bad language, etc., I'd much rather find it out before I waste my time. Oh, and my favorite is when the bad reviews come from people complaining that a book is "too Christian"--that's a definite point in its favor for me! :D

Yes! I always love it when I read negative reviews about the Christian content that make me want to buy the book. I almost feel like writing a review, telling them that they helped me find a good book. ;)
