Good afternoon readers!
This afternoon I've been writing, editing and pondering on the apostrophe.
I've been editing and formatting my forthcoming novel THE GHOSTHUNTER'S CLUB and I need to tell my graphic designer the exact wording for the front cover. Now, please comment below your thoughts but should I use an apostrophe or not? I had an actual debate with a colleague at work about this and neither of us can make up our minds. As far as I can see, there is one club but many hunters seeking ghosts, therefore it needs an apostrophe before the s but my colleague thinks I could do without the troublesome little mark as it would look better on the cover. What do other people think? Answers below please!
In other news, I am going to release my ghost story THE LISTENING POST at the end of September, so look out for that. I've been bashing away on my laptop and progress on a thriller I am writing is going well. It is about a policeman who is being set up for a crime he didn't commit and has to go on the run. I've got a great source of information via a friend of mine who is a police officer, it also helps that he is quite handsome he he!
Reading wise, check out
Julia Hughes novel
A Ripple in Time - Angel of the Titanic that is my current read on my Kindle, a great exploration regarding what happens when we mess with the time line.
Have a good Sunday, I'm having roast chicken!

I'm a Twitter/Facebook friend of Julia Hughes; that's how I came to stumble across you.
If the apostrophe goes anywhere, it should go after the last letter, viz. The Ghosthunters' Club--because the club is composed of many such hunters.
But I don't think you need the mark at all. It could simply be the name of the club: The Ghosthunters Club. Or, you could drop the "Club" and go with "Ghosthunters" to remove all doubt. Whatever works.
Good luck!
