Book #1 in The Detective Crombie series is "An Explosive Time" and is a cross over from the Celtic Cousins' Adventures.

All titles are stand alone, and can be read in any order, so hope this admin error (my bad, I'm sure) doesn't mar your enjoyment of Book 2.
