I won't be able to tell till the Kindle edition goes up, but such a glitch is possible.
My usual custom is to wait a bit and collect all the errata I can before asking for a re-do, in the interests of efficiency. We'll see what turns up in the next few days.
There's always something...

The Kindle edition was just uploaded this morning, so it should be appearing soon-ish, sometime today certainly. I see the Nook edition is up this morning -- shall add link.

Thank you Ms. Bujold I just got the book from BnN. I learned about its existence on Facebook. Since I buy from Baen then I use the epub format for my ebooks. I also support Amazon competition.
I could not find your book through the search at BnN but had to use your link.

Sometimes the vendor search functions lag a bit, I've found. It's only a concern if it doesn't sort itself out in a few days.
I've never been able to get the iTunes search to work for me for e-books, but perhaps one has to be signed up. Which seems backwards to me; people would surely be more willing to sign up if they knew their target book was waiting. Ah, well.

Here at 12:30 PM Central time, I tried to get it direct on my own Kindle. I had a setback finding it due to my search keyboard not handling apostrophes, so the bots didn't recognize or match the spelling "miras". But I persevered, and blundered into it with a "search everywhere" retry.
However, instead of reading "downloaded" on my home screen, it says "queued", which is new to me. Anyone know what that means? I'll have to see how long it takes to get over that. If it does.
I should like to fantasize that we've overloaded the server with our massive popular demand, but more likely it's just a glitch upstream somewhere. Some time will tell.
Shall go continue reading my manga in progress while I wait it out.

Later: Ha. The biter bit. I gave my Paperwhite a half hour to spontaneously heal, which it didn't. When I tapped on the title on my home page, which was still frozen, it gave a pop-up menu with two choices, the lady or the tiger, er, cancel download or not. Since "not" hadn't worked before, I tried cancelling, figuring to try a re-buy. Amazon now insists I have the title (which, of course, I don't) and won't sell it to me again.
No idea what to try next.
I feel your pain, people...
L.

OK, it's not just me/my title, then. I will wait it out a while longer.

It's downloaded to my Kindle app on my laptop, but not to my Kindle itself. I think I did something Wrong a while ago. Well, I'll try messing around a bit more.
Not much later: Going to my "manage your devices" on my Amazon account allowed me to stumble over a reload feature, which worked. Yay!
I think I should have spent more time playing computer games when younger. (Not that I had time then.) I would be better trained for this sort of thing. They seem to be set up to cater to the sort of people who can actually find the Easter Eggs.
Ta, L.

I probably should. Or you could just report whatever you find here -- not too much, I hope.
Got the missing art credit, so far.
Ta, L.

Also, the cover is present and correct!

Misspelling: "Skyrose" in several places, instead of "Skirose" as in "Penric's Mission."

Oh, the cover's ok --what's missing is the art credit for the cover design, which is by Ron Miller. I'll get that fixed later when I've had a chance to collect any other errata.
Anyway, people's first reads shouldn't be proofreads. Just read. And enjoy, I hope.

Ha. Those are two sneaky ones. I'll add them to the list.

Very good point. Something like Google's Play Store (which, iirc, uses Adobe DRM, which is relatively 'standard' and is pretty much device neutral), would make a lot of sense.

(This being a thread devoted to typos, you might want to fix "pursued" in your line 2)

Apparently Google Play Books is not accepting indie works right now, but Kobo is.
