What to Expect in 2017

Rather than piecing together what I may be working on based on isolated tweets on my Twitter, I figure it would make more sense to blog about it here in a bit more detail.

First, I am planning on releasing a short story collection in 2017. The title of it is TBA, and it will be a bit bulkier than my last self-contained interconnected trio of short stories.

I'd like to write at least three more 1st drafts this year.

I will also be looking over old manuscripts that can be overhauled and polished to fill the collection. They are of a certain younger vintage, therefore, are highly unrefined but have a rawness of voice that is inimitable after a certain age and would befit the collection's theme -also TBA as the title would give that away.

More news on that next year.

I've teased a possible nonfiction releases in the past and it hasn't come to fruition yet. Those as well as short stories are more seriously in the works now as I have started talking to editors about timetables and rates.
