Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
“Socialism" is no more an evil word than "Christianity." Socialism no more prescribed Joseph Stalin and his secret police and shuttered churches than Christianity prescribed the Spanish Inquisition. Christianity and socialism alike, in fact, prescribe a society dedicated to the proposition that all men, women, and children are created equal and shall not starve.”

Bernardo Villela I got like 20-25 pages today and some pretty big stuff happened. I may be beginning to see how it factors in.

Bernardo Villela Note to self: November 11th Stephen King's "Revival" is auto-delivered to my Kindle. Clear the decks before then.

Kyle Yea I hear yea, the farther you get in that book the darker it becomes, which is nice haha

Bernardo Villela Hey, no shame in that. Even though I loved it, I took a hiatus that long from 11/22/63; and I don't think I read that much in the interim. Similarly when I do read Bec I go through quite a few pages it's just a bit of culture shock to be heading back in time 4th book in to the series.
