Thanks, Amber! :)

Sean Gibson Friends--a few of you have (awesomely and stupendously) indicated an interest in contributing some art to the collected H&G compendium that I'll be putting out once our tale is told. Given that we're steaming toward the conclusion, please let me know if you're still interested so we can talk about plans.

Thanks!

Bret Another exceptional installment, sir.

Coworkers have not appreciated my adding a "pip, pip" to every email today, but what do those philistines know, eh what!

Muchas gracias, Mr. Bowman. Your coworkers are a bunch of schmucks, clearly, and they really should just pay you to go home and draw. Specifically, they should pay you to go home and draw Cheesecalibur. And a purty pitcher for the H&G collection.

Trish AAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! WHY did Goodreads not show me this update??????????

Sean Gibson Trish wrote: "AAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! WHY did Goodreads not show me this update??????????"

I don't know! I've been missing all sorts of updates in my feed lately...

I blame the gremlins!

message 8: by Paul (new)

Paul A new Stephen King novel AND a new Sean Giblog (I'm making that a thing) on the SAME DAY?!

The gods must be smiling on me... which makes me deeply, deeply suspicious...

>Checks living room floor for pit traps<

message 9: by Trish (new)

Trish It's really awful but I thought it was limited to notifications (likes and comments). I had been wondering when part 10 would be online. That means I could have missed out on so much more (as if missing out on this wasn't bad enough)!!!

Dude! Yes, totally still up for that... In fact, the only reason I haven't e-mailed you my Grimple drawing yet is that I foolishly left my sketchbook at a relative's house and have been too lazy to retrieve it yet. Now you've reminded me, I'm on it like a bonnet writing a sonnet!

message 11: by Trish (new)

Trish Paul wrote: "...Sean Giblog (I'm making that a thing)..."

Yes! I'm in!

Also, it would be SO COOL if you contributed art for this!!!

Paul wrote: ">Checks living room floor for pit traps<"

Pfff. As if I'd put it THERE! Give me some credit!

NICE. Do your thing, Bonnet--I'm excited. This is going to be epic!

(Incidentally, Trish baits her pit traps with pizza; it's sort of her calling card.)

message 13: by Trish (new)

Trish Bonnet???

Pizza doesn't work on Paul so I switched to cheesecake. ;)

Oh, man... Now you're going nuclear!

message 17: by Trish (new)

Trish First time I heard "eejit" was on Supernatural and actually had to google what it meant - and loved the word every since. xD

Wonderful segment, as usual!

message 18: by Sean (new)

Sean Gibson Thanks, Trish! I really appreciate that you crazy kid are hanging in with our heroes every step of the way. :)

What?! Why would I not??? First, I DO have a greater attention span than a goldfish. Also, I love funny things and fantasy stories and hey - I'm a fan of this author.

Trish Nope. Won't accept that. He's not a hack. He's one heck of a writer - maybe you meant that. And he might want to hurry up and publish this beauty so I can throw my hard-earned money at him and teach him even more German proverbs (and maybe even some foul language)!

By the way: I chose to take "you crazy kid" as a compliment!

You're entirely too kind! And rest assured that I'll have this available on Amazon very soon after the completion of the tale, which I hope will happen in the next 2-3 months. It'll be worth it for Paul's drawing alone, I have no doubt! :)

(YES for German curse words!)

message 25: by Trish (new)

Trish Just you wait until auntie Trish teaches the Spawn of Sean - then you'll hate me. Bwahahahahaha! But then it will be too late!

Here I was, thinking that I had self-esteem issues!

message 26: by Paul (new)

Paul I remember a German exchange student teaching us this one when we were kids:

Spoiler hidden as some people may find it offensive... Well, probably most everyone... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
(view spoiler)

Trish will now laugh and tell me it's gibberish...

message 27: by Trish (new)

Trish BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Oh, I'm laughing alright but not because it's completely wrong or anything. "ihre" has to be without a capital letter unless you address someone in a polite manner and you would probably phrase it a little bit differently but it is correct.

message 28: by Paul (new)

Paul YES! Thank you exchange student from thirty years ago!

message 29: by Sean (new)

Sean Gibson In English, please?

Bwahahahahahahaha! of course, THAT he remembers. *lol*

Great, now Sean will want me to teach him stuff like that too. *sigh*

message 32: by Trish (new)

Trish By the way: AGAIN I didn't get notified about your comments from some 13 hours ago! I'm sharpening my blades and rallying my evil ginger kittens as we speak!

But I must say, the fact that your remembered that for all these years is impressive.

Thanks for the new installment Sean!

Thanks. My memory is flawless when it comes to retaining entirely useless information like this, yet when it comes to anything useful that I actually need to retain? Not a chance!

Paul Ginger wrote: "While they were sliding down I was seeing oubliette and wondering where the 'helping hands' were..."

'Which way do you want to go?'

I bloody love that movie...

message 38: by Trish (new)

message 39: by Paul (new)

Paul Trish wrote: "*feels left out because OBVIOUSLY has missed another great movie*"

If you haven't seen 'Labyrinth' you must do so immediately. It's easily in my top ten movies of all time and one of the four movies my brother and I could recite the dialogue of word-for-word. (I wonder if we still could? It's been a while...)

message 40: by Trish (new)

Trish So what is it about (apart from the obvious)? Is it an evil labyrinth? Is it a horror movie?!
*tries to find it online*

message 41: by Trish (new)

Trish Is it the one from 1986 with David Bowie?!

message 42: by Ginger (new)

Ginger Yeeeeesss!

I can still quote much of the movie. My sister and I still use the quotes in our every day conversations ;)

I have met Toby as well. He is a sweetheart.

message 43: by Trish (new)

Trish Toby who?! If you're going to day Toby Stevens, I might faint. ;P

Found the 1986 movie and will watch it on the weekend.

message 44: by Ginger (last edited Jun 08, 2016 12:57PM) (new)

Ginger Lol no Toby in the movie.
His name is Toby Froud. His father, Brian Froud, designed all the goblins.

I met Brian too. He is my hero.

message 45: by Paul (new)

Paul Brian Froud's designs are fantastic. I do believe there's an art book featuring them. Absolutely brilliant.

message 46: by Ginger (last edited Jun 08, 2016 01:54PM) (new)

Ginger There are a few Paul ;)
I have most of them. He signed my copy of The Faeries' Oracle

message 47: by Paul (new)

Paul Cool!

message 48: by Trish (new)

Trish Aaaaand GR deleted this from my notifications ... but this time I was anticipating it, seeing your comments via e-mail notifications - HA!

*clears throat*

Ok, different Toby but still very cool. Especially that you now have a signed artbook! Can you post a picture or two from what it looks on the inside?

message 49: by Ginger (new)

Ginger I will make a note to get some pictures this weekend :)

message 50: by Trish (new)
