Heh heh. Keep it coming, Paul...
See Sean?! This was such a perfect Monday gift that Paul has completely lost it. Proud of yourself? I bet! Now help me at least taking him home before his wife makes us both watch the Eurovision Song Contest!

AVERT YOUR EYES FROM THE SINGING PEOPLE ON TV!

That's my motto too!
Great installment by the way - I love the dwarves. Eejit! (New favourite word.) :D
It's just called 'Shark'. It's a BBC doc, narrated by Paul McGann. It's good but flits from topic to topic too quickly for my tastes. I'd like it to go deeper into each subject before moving on.
Too bad. I'll have to try and find that documentary and watch it (don't know it yet). My favourite is still the marvellous Sir David Attenborough but BBC documentaries in general are fantastic.
Well, one can beat him, but nobody can BEAT him. ;PI've recently seen pictures of him as a young man - so handsome and already so much into wildlife preservation! He really dedicated his entire life to it!

Nice hooter, Trish.
I was waiting for Paul to say something like that but you beat him to it. ;) Well, as the German saying goes: Even a blind chicken finds a grain sometimes (I'm totally gonna make that saying a thing here). xD

(How does that saying actually go in German? I want to practice saying it so I can sound smart at parties.)
Trish wrote: "Muhahahaha. We could practice. As I said, I plan on making this a thing anyway. ;P"Teach me, Obi-Wan. You're my only hope.
Okay, dammit. I've just spent the last two and a half days trying to come up with some kind of witty and humorous compliment for this latest installment of H&G. Two and a half days to create something worthy enough for the company of other FOHAGS and...? Bupkis.I suck.
You don't.

Lolly, you are the schmear of cream cheese on the bagel of life!

Aw, you've got me all verklempt! So where's my lox companion?
Have I just broken this metaphor?
I must admit that I wondered about the lox as well. What is a schmear of cream cheese without the lox?
There. Now it is broken ;)
Would this be an awkward time to note that I don't really like cream cheese OR lox? I'm more of a butter guy...

Personally? Give me a pastry and whipped cream. Make of that what you will...

I'm not even touching that one.

Wuss.
Sean wrote: "Be careful what you wish for, Lolly..."You don't scare me. Go ahead, do your worst. Or best.
Heh heh heh.
I HATE whipped cream. Ugh. Whenever I see someone having strawberries with it, I turn into the Hulk and want to SMASHSMASHSAMSH.
I don't think I've ever heard someone so vehemently against whipped cream! What did whipped cream ever do to you, Trish??
Lol leave it to Trish to hate whipped cream. My kiddo hated whipped cream for a long time because he thought I was putting sour cream on his ice ream *sigh* It took forever to get him to try it again.
I do NOT know where he gets it from

Maybe he's been hanging out with Trish.
What it did? Nothing, apart from tasting bad and having a weird consistency and ... yuck! And no, Ginger's kid did not hang out with me because if he had, he would have never liked it in the first place. ;P
There need to be people who hate whipped cream. You know, in order to restore balance to the universe.
Hey Sean! Hope all is well. :) Are you going to eventually put all this together and release it as a novel?
Sh3lly ✨ Bring on the Weird ✨ wrote: "Hey Sean! Hope all is well. :) Are you going to eventually put all this together and release it as a novel?"Hi Sh3lly! That's the plan--there are going to be another 3-4 parts, and then I'll release it as a collected edition, probably just as an ebook through Amazon. It'll be novella-length at that point (maybe 140-150 pages), and I'm planning (hoping) to include art from some of the very talented folks who have been following the story, plus perhaps some bonus material (maybe an original Heloise ballad). With any luck, our tale will conclude sometime in the next couple of months, and the collected tale will be available late summer/early fall!
