The Hidden Oracle!

HIDDEN ORACLE Final cover

Thanks to everyone who came to our launch event in Boston on Tuesday, May 3! We had a sold-out crowd and I loved hearing your questions and sharing your enthusiasm. And thanks to everyone on social media who has already responded to the new series with such love and appreciation. I’ve got the best readers in the world! It’s always a relief to me when I hear that I met your expectations in a new volume.

If you haven’t picked up your copy of The Hidden Oracle yet, it is now available anywhere books are sold in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. I’m not sure about the other markets. I don’t get that info. But if it’s not yet available where you live, I’m sure the publishers are working hard to get it into your hands as soon as possible!

And if you missed the usual “Coming in 2017” at the end of The Hidden Oracle, I did too! Here is the title of book two, which will be here next October:

Trials of Apollo BOOK 2 type cover 2P

Also the Rick Riordan website has just had a facelift. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Kang Ying She I live actually in a block in Oslo. I live in 8th floor a small city called Stovner. We have a shopping centre pretty near our house with about 5minutes to walk there. I go to a school 15 minutes from home.

message 1002: by N.E.S (new)

N.E.S Dover is pretty small and when you go to a big city its like your in a different dimension

message 1003: by Zara (new)

Zara Well where I live is kinda semi-rural. In one part of town there's a lot of bush and the only places there are the post office, pub and primary school. We drive to the nearest town if we need to buy anything. I live on an acre property which is awesome because I used to live in the suburbs. It's so cool how you can actually see the stars without the light pollution. But then, there is also the development which I hate! It is streets upon streets of identical houses with a few small trees in between. And they have their own "exclusive club" which I'm pretty sure you have to live there to use. And they can get good internet!!! We can see the development clearly from our backyard but can we get good internet? No. And they're scaring off the kangaroos!

message 1004: by Zara (new)

Zara Speaking of kangaroos, I hate how many dead kangaroos are on the freeway. It's so sad. They're like, Australia's mascot, and yet you are way more likely to see one dead than alive. Cos no one's careful enough! It can be a back road, surrounded by trees, at dusk, when the kangaroos come out, and people'll be speeding!

message 1005: by N.E.S (new)

N.E.S You know, I never thought of living in a kangaroo habitat. We have deer and moose and ALOT rabbits and foxs. We have a line of evergreens in the back of our house.

We sometimes see the stars, it depends. Your lucky that you can see them without light pollution. But the thing I like is the sunrise and the sunsets...there so pretty and they set right a cross a strip forest land (thats about two acres away from my house). It reminds me of Ponyboy from the Outsiders....its like me being gold you know? and then what nice but annoying is when the birds chirp WAY to early in the morning just before the sun comes up

Basically, your kangaroos are like the deer where I live. They are always along the parkway and there have been many accidents involving them. I also live in the suburbs, but we are so nearby the city, you could actually bike there.

message 1007: by Kang Ying (new)

Kang Ying She Actually we don't see much animals where I live.

message 1008: by Evelin (new)

Evelin Well, I live close the city but not to close like 45 minutes away from it. So I'm not close to any park with all of green and the stuff. I also live close to a road so I like cars that much. And stores and things like that are like few minutes away.
Also Happy late Birthday Kitten. Whats all of you favorite color? My is green and blue sometimes.

Lucky! I have a Music Theory Paper to write, a boatload of Chem, some Latin, and a dash of Dante's Inferno to round it out. Plus I got to make posters to decorate the school. Okay, that last part is fun... :)

Whoa!!! I'm studying it in 10th grade, when did you study the Inferno? I'm still reading it, it's good but a little overrated.

message 1047: by Zara (new)

Zara I'm at school right now- in class actually, but our teacher has gone to yell at some students and said that we could go on our phones. Yay! I am trying to convince my friend Harmony that she should read the Magnus Chase series so that I can talk about it because no one I know has read it and it is really really frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!

message 1048: by Kang Ying (new)

Kang Ying She Actually I just wake up, I also study in 10th grade but we have homework in history and math both a school and in high school. I also tried to convince one of my friend Tarunika to read Percy Jackson series, but she didn't like fantasy only mystery.
I also have to write 3 text this week one about our travel to Germany, second about right between men and women and the last one about what is typical Norwegian.
