We are 'in process'. More e-books are in production. A heron attempted a raid.

I'm working on Hellburner, and Heavy Time is in process.  I did the covers with Jane's able help.

Get the picture: I'm looking like the risen dead, in my bathrobe, chasing this stupid heron who is shopping in the warm end of the pond—I go flying out the door, chase the persistent bird off (fortunately we have a 6′ circular floating shield which we hope has protected the koi from predation: it defeated the raccoon; we hope it did the heron.)

Well, but back to the picture. I'm walking over rough ...

I'm going to have to beg help on the Heavy Time files.

The ones I have turn out to be rougher than I thought. If I could get some volunteers to divvy that book up and scan the chapters…that would be lovely.

Woah! I just read Jane's post—and she's talking about uploading Harmonies…Wait! she's doing it!

—Any minute now. That will bring the entire original NetWalkers trilogy into e-print, so those of you who don't like to buy until the whole thing is available—it's going available!

I'm gaining on it. Jane will announce when Uplink goes up…soon, I think.

She's busy helping recover Faery, and I'm busy figuring out how to improve our files' display qualities. I think I've solved a few problems.

Meanwhile I'm ending the poll—I think we've got our answer, so nothing changes. The new poll is going to ask: What device are you using?

So what have I done today? I (being the e-pub geek) have gotten Jane's…

…Uplink ready for upload to the store.
And then I was so tired I made a bonehead mistake and LOST the Faery Moon main file for the revision of the Faery Moon files. I was beyond upset.
And then I downloaded (they offer a refund it if doesn't work) a file recovery program: it ran for over [...:]

Revisions of file creations for e-books; and observations on best choices to make…

I won't stultify you with the full details of what I'm learning about file-conversion for e-book, but shall we say, I am becoming the file-conversion-geek of CC, and I now know things I wish I'd known when I started.
Here's the skinny on what I know. 1. I can fix the .txt quotation glitch. I cannot get txt [...:]

We now have a poll—->>>> over there>>>> [scroll down]

It's a new widget and I'm a little bit of a novice making it work, but the first  info I'm after is what is everybody's MAIN format—and then I'll be asking (in the next poll) which ones can you use? So on this one, only one answer is allowed, and after you vote, you can [...:]

re glitches in some formats…i'm onto something…

bear with me; my primary shift key has decided not to function, so you will definitely get some weird typos in this post, but i am going to take after it with a pin in the theory something has gotten under the keyboard…
here's what i found out; 4 of the formats will read the art— [...:]
