The Glitch is Fixed…Anyone who glitched a download—try again–
Just got through the procedure and all should be well. Please report if otherwise!
The software designer, bless him/her, within 2 hours of our request, and in post-Christmas week, provided us a fix, and we are running again.
Closed Circle download glitch
Die and learn! We did a routine upgrade to our shopping basket on Closed Circle, and users have met a download glitch. We have a query in to the software creator. In the meanwhile, stand by: we will announce here and on CC when we have a fix.
Those of you having trouble with purchases, e-mail us at the authors (at) closed-circle (dot) net, and remember: that hyphen is necessary, or your e-mail goes no-telling-where.
Sorry about this. Next time we won't trust the upgrade without extensive...

Hellburner is finished, but not yet up: it will go up after Heavy Time.
…I'm starting back to work on Bren's situation (I know: yay!) and will be working on Heavy Time and Rusalka. Our first half month of operation has gone very well, all things considered. We've had a couple of glitches where we've had to e-mail back and forth to solve a download issue, and I'm going to want to put out some corrected files, but over all, we're doing pretty well for three novices who half a year ago didn't know any of this stuff. We're happy you're enjoying what we're doing...

Holiday wishes from the Three Musketeers…

Jane's got pixxxx—of the decor—and Abbey's blogging regularly again. And me—I'm sitting here with my cat on my arm—she's sure she can help me type—and contemplating a store run to get some lastminute items. Happy holidays to us all!

Help please. Got a fallout in text of Hellburner. Can you figure missing line?
Chapter 12: lines we have…segment with:
. . . Shakespeare; and Bird . . .
Ben, leave
the damn charts-
"Pollard? What would you do?"
HERE'S POSSIBLY OUR PROBLEM. IS THERE MATERIAL MISSING HERE?
"I'm sure you have," he said. "Use Sol."

May I say thank you—to all of you.
You who've helped us with advice, and analysis, and scanning, and shop-testing and just comments, and being there…we take it as the highest compliment we could get, that people like you read our books. Your generosity is amazing. Please stay with us. We so much enjoy the community that's grown up here, and when we get tired or wonder what on earth we can do about this or that situation—we remember where our books are going, and we reload that whole file to get that pesky chapter head...

Running hard…sore fingers. An unreasonably warm December…
…which means everything drips. That's El Nino for you. Washington gets rain. Not nice pretty snow.
I'm halfway through converting Hellburner. That's going to go up under its old copyright. Feeling good.
And we still haven't got the tree up, but the rest of the lights are up.
Note to self: never have guacamole at a place that calls itself The Onion. I've been miserable all day—we went out with OSG last night and had a very nice supper to welcome her back from her travels. Unfortunately, I didn't ...

Working—we're managing to get holiday decorations up…
…largely thanks to Jane, who is working as hard as I am on her own Ring of Lightning. I'm doing Hellburner while waiting for the files on Heavy Time…and we had contact with OSG, who is back from NYC, having seen every show in town. I am way behind in Christmas shopping; Jane and I have 2 gift-givings, one at Christmas, one at New Year's, just because a little of a good thing isn't enough. I thought I was going to get her a new video game, but I find that Dragon Age, which looks nice, won't...
