When I Wake
When I wake,
By your side,
My heart and soul,
No more to hide
Just one look,
Into your eyes,
I wish again,
No more goodbyes
When I kiss,
Your perfect lips,
My heart it leaps,
And totally flips
I brush my hand,
Across your hair,
Ive never seen,
A maid so fair
My heart it beats,
A mighty tattoo,
Every one,
Just for you
Just to spend,
Each day with you,
By your side,
My love so true.

I’ll Change My Flag
Alone again,
On this desolate isle.
Trapped in a chain,
No desire to smile.
Dreaming of then,
When together we were.
Dreaming of then,
When together well be.
Thoughts of us,
Lift my heart.
Thoughts of us,
Never apart.
Days will pass,
Night times too.
No need to ask,
Ill come back to you.
Time it does drag,
Until that day.
Ill change my flag,
When we find a way.
I love you, Ionia.

Channeling Harrison by David Young
This book is a true account of the ongoing and mind-blowing experiences between David Young, a multi-talented musician/producer artist, and former Beatle George Harrison. What David Young, who plays two flutes at one time and has sold over a million CDs, has documented is verifiable, real, and astounding. Every time he questioned his direction, he was (is) guided by one of the most loved, respected, and spiritual musicians of all time. The story abounds with seemingly impossible synchronicities, lined up one after the other in perfect time, all of them helping him to rise above his life s challenges, and not only evolve as a musician, but as a spiritual being as well. George entered David s life during a time of devastating heartbreak. This intervention was just the beginning of over forty incredible experiences. George s musical genius began to channel through David s own music. After recording forty instrumental CDs, David spontaneously wrote and recorded twenty-five vocal songs in thirty days! Songs with depth and rich production values like the Beatles, in a rock-with-soul style he had never done before. What is George trying to communicate, and why has he chosen David? This incredible story proves there is life after death or better yet, life after life.
The book comes with a free download of three of these songs as well as three spiritual instrumental tracks.”
Four stars out of five
As a longtime fan of George Harrison I was very interested in reading this book and learning of the author’s experiences.
I liked the way in which this book was written and structured. The format made it an easy book to read and the topic was extremely absorbing.
This book was an account of the author’s personal life experiences, and in particular how he related these moments in his life to his spiritual connection with former Beatle Harrison. I especially liked hearing how Mr Young continually experienced these episodes of concurrence.
The author presented an interesting life story, even without the association with Harrison. The obvious spirituality of the author was apparent throughout.
This book will appeal to many diverse readers, in particular those with an interest in George Harrison, or with an interest in matters of a deeply spiritual nature. I found this to be a thoroughly enjoyable read.
This review was based on a complimentary copy of the book.

Guest Post by Yohana Petrovic: The Best Free Tools to Improve your Writing
Interesting post. Well worth checking out.

The best free tools to improve your writing skills!
The art of writing is a combination of language, technical skills and creativity. The language and technical aspects of your writing include elements such as grammar and proofreading. However, grammar is an area from which you can learn every day. The command over grammar is like the electricity powering your computer: you will need that power every day to create polished content.
The creativity aspect of your writing includes the major element, which is your uniqueness – ‘your style of writing’. Hence, there are categories such as fiction writer, resume writer, copywriter, content writer and so on.
If you have just begun your writing career, then give it a minimum of 3-6 months to understand…

Final Day of the Poetic Proposal Blog Tour.
Today’s expression of heartfelt gratitude for hosting the grand finale of the ‘A Poetic Proposal’ blog tour goes out to John Howell.
What can I say about this man. I absolutely love his sense of humour and writing style. He has been ever present in his support, both personally, and with regard to my poetry.
John’s blog is known as ‘Fiction Favorites’ (nearly gave it a UK spelling there, sorry John. I think we’re good now). In addition to posts about his novel writing his blog includes regular weekly features such as ‘Wednesday Story day – Hump Day’, Friday’s ‘TGIF Johnku’, and ‘Stream of Consciousness Saturday’. He is the author of a fiction thriller MyGRL. Check it out, along with news of his other ‘Published Work’.
John has been the ‘Spotlight Author’ of the week this last week for the #RaveReviewsBookClub (#RRBC), during which his many interesting posts, including ‘Question and Answers’ and ‘Interviews’ have appeared all over the blogosphere. See his introductory post here.
‘Fiction Favorites‘ is definitely one of my favourites, and that’s not fiction. It is not a site you want to miss. Get over there now!
Thank you again for hosting the grand finale of the ‘Poetic Proposal’ blog tour today, John, for your constant support, and especially for your awesome sense of humour.

Day 6 of the Poetic Proposal Blog Tour.
Today is the penultimate day of the ‘A Poetic Proposal’ blog tour, and it is my pleasure to give thanks to Marie Ann Bailey for hosting today’s stop.
Marie’s blog is called ‘1WriteWay’ and is a treasure chest of all things book and writing related. She is a self-confessed writer, knitter, and stray cat magnet. Her ‘About 1WriteWay’ page is an example to all of us that either leave the default page, or do the bare minimum. Check it out.
Amongst her other posts and reviews Marie has recently been including chapters from her novel in progress ‘Clemency’. This was a really interesting series of posts made as she worked on the novel for NaNoWriMo, posting the entire novel, although in her own words, with a lot of stuff left out. See the Prologue here.
You should visit Marie’s blog here and say hi.
Thank you so much, Marie, for featuring the ‘Poetic Proposal’ blog tour today, and for your support.

BOOK BUZZ TIPS
A successful book launch can really make a difference:
Early sales help a book start out with a good sales rank.
This gives the book better visibility, especially if the book lands on any of the bestseller lists (even in a subcategory).
The customers-also-bought list also builds faster.
If sales taper off, those early sales prevent the rank from sliding as quickly.
Early sales improve the chances for early reviews.
In this article, I will present a variety of ideas to assist with book promotion before, during, and shortly after the book launch.
To help illustrate some of my points, I will feature strategies used by fantasy author Charles E. Yallowitz, who is presently promoting his own book launch for Curse of the Dark Wind, the sixth book in his Legends of Windemere series.

Day 5 of the Poetic Proposal Blog Tour.
So just after the half-way mark and we’re into the home stretch. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dominic DiFrancesco for hosting the ‘A Poetic Proposal’ blog tour today.
Dominic is the man responsible for the blog ‘Black and Write – The Poetic Musings of Dom DiFrancesco’. It is here that he shares with the world his own particular brand of highly emotional and evocative poetry, exploring a multitude of different poetic forms along the way. Dom posts a lot of exceptional poetry, on many, varied topics, his passion for poetry clearly evident.
I suggest that you go visit his blog directly, to see for yourself the outstanding poetry that he posts.
Thank you for your support, Dom, and for featuring the ‘Poetic Proposal’ blog tour today. Your continual encouragement has been instrumental in the development of my own poetry.
