Thankful Thursday

I am so thankful for #ThankfulThursday this week because there has just been SO MUCH GOING ON that my brain is already mush, and really if work cared about my productivity at all they’d just tell me to stay home tomorrow in some sort of vegetative state so I could function again next week. Just as a side note – the next time I agree to put out three books in 30 days, you have full permission to slap me. Hard. Trust me, I’ll be fine, I can take it, but someone needs to tell me to calm the fuck down next time. Because, you know what? The rest of the world doesn’t stop just because I decide to be superwoman! (My Dom’s words, actually, and he’s got a strap ready if I ever do this again, LOL) Now, my work to-do list is under control, mom is out of the hospital and feeling much better than she was, and we’ve got the ARC for ‘Black Light: Valentine Roulette’ in the hands of the authors for final approval. The rest of the world has been bonkers too, and I mean… Holy shit, 2017 is not pulling punches so far, am I right? That’s why today’s hotties are necessary. They’re gorgeous, there’s a puppy, and these guys look like fun. Anyone who would wear a tiger hat is okay in my book. SHEESH! A quiet huff left his lips, and then he walked to the edge of the tank where she could see him. Tall, dark, and handsome. “Why are you here tonight, little one?”

Why? Sienna rolled her neck, testing her movement at the ankles and wrists, but found that she was so securely attached to the chair that the only thing she could move was her head. “I signed up, sir?”

“Obviously.” He sighed, looking down at her again. “You have such a lovely voice, I want to hear you speak. Just tell me about yourself.”

“What do you want to know, sir?”

The question seemed to frustrate him, and he pulled out an index card from a pocket on his suit jacket, glancing over it before he tossed it into the tank. Sienna was drawn to the way it floated on the surface for a moment, before it sunk and floated down to the bottom like a leaf falling from a tree. “Let’s start with what I know about you. Your hard limits for tonight were anal, fisting, blood play, and – of course – needle play, which we both had. ”

“Yes, sir.”

The fun is just beginning with Alexander and Sienna, and she’s going to learn very quickly that Alexander has zero tolerance for disobedience. When he says to answer him, she either speaks – or she goes in the water. This was SO FUN to write because a Daddy Dom is wayyyyy out of my comfort zone to write, but I think every author in this anthology tackled something new for them. Whether it was a new dynamic, new kinks, a new mindset for a character… whatever! We all challenged each other to push ourselves, and I think we more than rose to the challenge. Less than two weeks to go!
