Things get interesting on #SatSpanks!
#SatSpanks is about to get interesting with a sneak peek of my upcoming book ‘Black Light: Exposed’, and the full book is in my editor’s hands! It’s actually the 2nd book in the Black Light series, and the first one by Livia Grant, ‘Black Light: Rocked’, is out right now so you can dive into this kinky underground BDSM club without having to wait until January 14th! ‘Black Light: Exposed’ follows Madeline “Maddie” O’Neill, an aspiring reporter, who stumbles onto the story of a lifetime when she discovers the Black Light BDSM club hiding beneath popular Washington, D.C. hotspot Runway. Thomas Hathaway, Congressman, who is there to play “rescues” her from security by buying her a guest pass before they kick her out. Let’s just say this BDSM romance has some fireworks in it, and Maddie will have some tough choices to make between her dreams and her heart.
In this scene, Maddie and Thomas have been sitting inside the club talking, and she asked him if he really wanted to play with her…
—
Thomas tilted his head as he looked at her. “I would definitely enjoy playing with you, Maddie. The idea of tying you down over the end of one of those couches and turning your ass as beautifully red as your cheeks has me, admittedly, very turned on.”
Talk about honesty. Her throat was dry, and she tilted her drink up only to be disappointed as she swallowed the last bit of the only alcohol she’d have before whatever came next.
“Does that interest you, Maddie?”
She nodded slowly as she lowered her empty glass, forcing herself to speak. “It does.”
“Look at me when you answer me, please.” That edge was back in his tone and she lifted her gaze to his, unaware that she’d been staring down into the ice and lime.
“It interests me.”
“Sir,” he corrected.
“Sir,” she repeated.
“Wonderful.” Thomas smiled like a wolf and finished the last sip of his scotch before standing. He offered her his hand again, and she took it, abandoning her glass to the tabletop. Only Maddie stood more carefully than he had, because her legs seemed to be as unsteady as a newborn foal. “What is your limit for our play tonight? I won’t go beyond a belt or a strap, since that’s what we’ve discussed, but may I touch you?”
“Oh God, yes, please.” She answered too quickly, borderline pathetic and desperate due to the pulse pounding in agreement between her thighs.
Smooth.
His laugh was full of dark promise as he lifted his free hand to brush a thumb across her cheek, tucking a strand of unruly hair behind her ear. “I would love to watch you come under my touch.”
Maddie’s knees almost buckled as she stared up into his maddening eyes, sometimes a hint of green, or gray, amidst the forest-tinged brown. “That would be fantastic.”
“Sir,” he added for her, again.
“Sir,” she repeated, again, and the smile he gave her was full of approval that she devoured like she was starving.

He’s an addiction like no tomorrow, and I can’t wait for you all to see more of him! Keep coming back to check for more!

Thankful Thursday
It is #ThankfulThursday again and the last one of 2016, which has been a combination of wonderful things like releasing a bunch of amazing books that I am so proud of, and proud to be a part of (when it comes to the anthologies), but it’s also been a shitty year with celebrity deaths, and political mumbo-jumbo, and sheer drama that makes us all want to crawl inside a wine bottle. Or is that just me? Anyway, the wine industry has sure been grateful for my contributions this past year, and I’m definitely not stopping any time soon. The edits for ‘Black Light: Exposed’ are going to be wrapped up in a day or so, and it will be out to you lovelies by mid-January. The fairy tale anthology (with my naughty Rapunzel based capture fantasy) will come out on January 24th, and if THAT isn’t a wonderful way to ring in the new year, I don’t know what else is… Actually, that’s a total lie. I’ve got this hottie ready to help us bring in 2017 (at least from the backside), with many wonderful wishes of a fantastic new year for us all! I’m wishing you all the best. Stay safe, stay naughty, and we’ll see more sexy guys in 2017!

Maddie will do anything for a story on #WIP Wednesday!
We’re back for #WIP Wednesday again, and I think the bloghop will officially return next week! I’ve got another sneak peek of my upcoming book ‘Black Light: Exposed’. It’s the 2nd book in the Black Light series, and the first one by Livia Grant, ‘Black Light: Rocked’, is out right now so you can dive into this kinky underground BDSM club without having to wait until January! ‘Black Light: Exposed’ follows Madeline “Maddie” O’Neill, an aspiring reporter, who stumbles onto the story of a lifetime when she discovers the Black Light BDSM club hiding beneath popular Washington, DC hotspot Runway. Thomas Hathaway, Congressman, who is there to play “rescues” her from security by buying her a guest pass before they kick her out. Let’s just say this BDSM romance has some fireworks in it, and Maddie will have some tough choices to make between her dreams and her heart.
In this scene, Maddie and Thomas have been sitting inside the club talking. He wants to know about her favorite kinks, but there’s just one little problem – she’s never played before. That doesn’t mean the things she sees around the club, and Thomas Hathaway’s tempting personality, don’t have her interested. With both feet already in the fire, and the story of a lifetime on the line, let’s see what Maddie does…
—
“One cape cod for you, and a scotch for me.” Setting the drinks down he took his seat and then lifted his glass. “To meeting new people.”
“Thank you.” Lifting hers she tapped it against his, and then took a larger sip than she probably should have. It was a cool, clean burn all the way down. Sitting up a little more she smiled at him. “So, do you meet new people here a lot?”
“Sometimes. Does that bother you?” Thomas rested his glass back on the table, his voice still light and casual.
“Not at all! I was just curious.”
“Madeline.” There was a chastising tone to the way he said her name, something about it making her want to apologize already even though she had no idea what she’d done wrong in his eyes. “None of this works if we’re not honest with each other. Honesty and communication are everything, and while I’m not asking you to blindly trust me right now, there does need to be some trust if you truly want to play.”
The words settled like a weight in her chest, forming a lump in her throat that she took another sip of her drink trying to push down. Honesty was definitely not her forte. Licking a trace of vodka from her lower lip she glanced over at him, putting everything into maintaining the appearance of calm. “I know how important honesty is, and that was honest. I’m not a child, I know you’ve been with other people, as have I. We’re both adults, right?”
He nodded and edged back to smile at her a little. “You’re absolutely right. So, why don’t you tell me what some of your favorite kinks are? I’m not saying we’ll do them, but I’d like to get to know you better.”
“Well, you brought up spanking.” The grin that stretched her lips was honest, and he returned it.
“I did. Do you like to get spanked, Madeline?”
Anything for a story, eh?
She felt her damnable blush returning, the curse of freckled people everywhere, but she spoke. “I do, and you can call me Maddie, by the way.”
“Hmmm, Maddie…” There was a purr in his voice as he said her name and it made her press her thighs together. “Tell me, do you like to be tied down when you get spanked, Maddie?”
The sudden lack of air in the room made her head swim a little as she imagined what some of those leather straps would feel like across her limbs, but there was no denying the rush of wetness between her legs. “It’s a definite turn-on.” Not a lie.
“What else do you like?” He leaned forward and rested his hand on her leg, inching up the hem of her dress just enough that the cool brush of his fingers teased the inside of her knee, and she realized she had parted them for him without thinking.
A crack of leather striking skin made her muscles twitch and she met his gaze. “That.”
Thomas tilted his head with a smile. “I think that was a belt, or a strap. Do you like to be spanked with a belt like a naughty girl?”
If anyone had asked her that on any other day of the week she might have thrown her drink in their face, or flipped them off and said something about misogyny, but the low growl in his tone made her pussy clench with unexpected anticipation. “Maybe,” she admitted, and his fingers traced a little higher on her thigh, sending a rush over her skin.
“You’re blushing, Maddie.”
“I’m sorry.” Pressing her drink-cooled hand to her cheek she felt the burning heat. Her cheeks had to be flushed bright red from her own nerves and the beginning surges of the vodka. “I can’t help it, it just happens.”
“I don’t want you to help it. It makes you look so beautiful, just a little touch of innocence.” Thomas slid his touch higher, brushing the place where her thighs still touched and she was tempted to spread her legs wider for him. To offer herself up like some sacrifice. “But you’re not that innocent, are you, Maddie?” His hazel eyes bored into her with an eerie kind of power, and she felt her breath grow shorter as arousal stormed through her veins.
“No, I’m not,” she whispered. Truth.
“Do you want to play with me tonight?”
“Yes.” Definitely not a lie. She wanted him. Probably more than she’d ever wanted any stranger. There was some dark mystery in him, some forbidden thing that called to the good girl in her and beckoned her closer. Some thing she wanted to taste, to feel, and this could be her only chance.
“Say ‘yes, sir’ for me.” Not a request, a command… and she liked it.
“Yes, sir.”
He gave her a look that promised corruption, and she wanted it. Wanted all of it. The spanking, the leather, the bondage, and other things she couldn’t name but she knew he could give them if she’d just give in. And she was definitely going to give in.
For the story, of course.

This story is ALMOST DONE, and then it will be off to my editor so it can be in your hands in mid-January. I’m really excited about this story and how it unfolds, and I hope you all love it too!
Teaser Tuesday! ‘Her Outlaw Daddy’ by Jane Henry!
We all know I’m a sucker for capture fantasy, and so when I heard about Jane Henry’s latest release ‘Her Outlaw Daddy’ I knew it was something I wanted to share with all of you! Cowboys are generally not my thing (seeing as how I’ve grown up around them) but this might just be sexy enough to pique my interest. Check out this sexy teaser below, lovelies, and grab a copy!
***
Her Outlaw Daddy
As the daughter of a well-to-do politician, Aida Perkins is accustomed to living in relative luxury, but everything changes the night she is carried off by Cole Clemens and his gang. The gruff, handsome outlaw makes it clear that she will be held for ransom until her father repays the debt he owes, and until then absolute obedience and total submission will be demanded of Aida.
When she puts him to the test, Aida quickly finds herself over Cole’s lap with her bottom bare for a thorough, humiliating spanking, and to make matters worse he informs her that from now on she will be expected to call him Daddy. Though the painful, embarrassing punishment infuriates Aida, her body betrays her and Cole’s stern chastisement arouses her deeply.
Determined to master Aida completely, Cole sets out to teach her what it means to surrender fully to a dominant man, and when he takes her long and hard she is left begging for more. Aida cannot help her growing passion for her firm-handed captor, but it is only when she learns the real reason for her kidnapping that she truly understands the danger she and her new daddy face. Will Cole be able to keep his little girl safe from both her enemies and his own?

“You can tie me up and whip me,” she said. “But I’ll see you hanged for this.”
Clenching his jaw, he grabbed her about the shoulder and tried to get her into position, but her foot shot out and kicked him in the kneecap. It stung like the dickens, and he swore vehemently as he rubbed at the pain, reaching for her bound wrists, but she was too quick. She spun away and tried to run but he snagged her about the waist. She tried to pull away from him, screaming at the top of her lungs, but it was too late for her now. He ducked her swinging fist, encircled her waist with his arm, and in one swift motion, dropped to the ground, hauling her straight across one bent knee. He lifted the strap and let loose a hard, whistling lash. She screamed when the strap connected with her backside. She kicked and hollered but couldn’t get away. Holding her tightly, he gave her another few measured swats with the strap. Her ferocity in fighting him still didn’t wane, though her voice caught now when she screamed. With nothing to protect her from the bite of the strap but her thin cotton chemise, he plied the strap against her thighs, and heard a whimper escape. Now he was getting somewhere. He spanked her again in the same spot. She yelped, pulling away and moaning, twisting her bottom, but he knew how to overpower her so that she could do little more than kick her feet. He was bigger, stronger, and meaner.
A string of curse words flew out of her mouth. Cole’s mouth set in a grim line, he spanked her again. “Well look what we have here,” he said in a low drawl, bringing the strap down with two more vicious lashes against her upper thighs. “A pretty girl who swears like a sailor. Tsk, tsk.”
Whap! The more he spanked, the more she fought. His arm hurt from having to restrain her so firmly, but he knew now wasn’t the time to stop. She needed a strapping that would break her will, leaving him the decided victor. “Seems to me, little lady, that you need more than a lesson in obedience,” he said, punctuating his words with whistling lashes of the strap. “Seems to me you need a lesson in manners your daddy should’ve taught you.” Whap! Whap! “And since I’m the man for the job, we’re not done here until you call me Daddy.”
Her curses echoed through the woods. He cringed. He’d have to spank her harder. With her over his knee, his range of motion was limited, and he couldn’t rear back to swing the way he would if she’d been up against the tree. Bracing himself, he lifted his hand even higher. The strap whistled through the air before landing in the hardest stroke he’d given her yet. Her whole body jerked from the sting of it, but still, she would not submit. He wouldn’t use anything more severe than the strap. He wouldn’t whip her harder. The point was to make her obey him, break through her stubborn resistance, not cause her real harm. He’d simply have to stay the course until she gave in.
Now he waited seconds between each lash. Whap! He paused, still holding her tightly, noting that now her legs didn’t kick quite so hard and her voice was growing hoarse from screaming at him.
“Say, ‘I’m sorry, Daddy’.”
“Go to hell!”
Whap! Another scream echoed in the woods. He waited again before he repeated his request but again, she refused. Now he waited even longer. Maybe not knowing when the next swat would fall would break her resolve. As he whipped her again, she was silent, this time only flinching as the lash landed. “I’ve got all day, little lady,” he said. “And we’re not goin’ anywhere until you obey.”

Want more from Jane Henry?
Jane has been writing since her early teens, dabbling in short stories and poetry. When she married and began having children, her pen was laid to rest for several years, until the National Novel Writing Month challenge (NaNoWriMo) in 2010 awakened her desire to write again. That year, she wrote her first novel, and has been writing ever since. With a houseful of children, she finds time to write in the early hours of the morning, squirreled away with a laptop, blanket, and cup of hot coffee. Years ago, she heard the wise advice, “Write the book you want to read,” and has taken it to heart. She sincerely hopes you also enjoy the books she likes to read.

Music Monday – Can You Hold Me
It’s #MusicMonday again and I know many of us are in recovery after the holiday weekend. I think that’s why ‘Can You Hold Me’ by NF and Britt Nicole is the perfect way to ease back into the weak. Their dual vocals are absolutely beautiful (like Civil Wars, but with a little less twang), and I love the way the instrumental behind their vocals moves the whole song like a story, as it rises to a crescendo and the song shifts too. That one line “If lonely’s a taste, then it’s all that I’m tasting” stole my breath away. Just beautiful and I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it. It’s a permanent writing playlist fixture now! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do, lovelies!
Favorite Lyrics
It feels like a tear in my heart,
like a part of me missing,
and I just can’t feel it.
I’ve tried, and I’ve tried,
and I’ve tried…
Tears on my face, I can’t take it.
If lonely’s a taste, then it’s all that I’m tasting.
Do you hear my cry?
I cry, oh…
Can you hold me? Can you hold me?
Can you hold me in your arms?
Just wrap me in your arms, in your arms,
I don’t wanna be nowhere else.
Take me from the dark, from the dark,
I ain’t gonna make it myself.
Put your arms around me,
put your arms around me,
let your love surround me,
I am lost, I am lost…
If I ain’t got you here,
If I ain’t got you, I ain’t got nothing at all!
Can you hold me? Can you hold me?
Can you hold me in your arms?

Santa has something special for Christmas!
In lieu of my normal Ask Me Anything, Santa has something special for us for Christmas, and let’s just say I’ve definitely made the naughty list this year and there’s no way he’s going to be giving me presents. Fortunately, I don’t think he’s noticed my penchant for punishment quite yet (he does have so many boys and girls to keep track of) and so I’d appreciate it if no one would tell him when he bends me over his desk and takes off that belt?
It would be appreciated.
Enjoy, lovelies, and have a Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah! We’ll be back in the swing of things next week!

It’s Christmas Eve and something is definitely stirring at Black Light! #SatSpanks
In this scene, Maddie and Thomas have walked into Black Light and she’s trying to recover from seeing all kinds of delightfully dirty things happening across the main area of the club. But before anything is happening, Thomas has a few questions about how she found her way to this place that’s supposed to be a secret.
—
“So, whose guest were you supposed to be tonight, Madeline? I’m very glad you agreed to come in with me, but I’m not looking to step on anyone’s toes if you already have -”
“I’m not meeting anyone.” Maddie shook her head and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. “I mean, I was invited, but we didn’t have plans or anything.”
“Who invited you, Madeline?” There was a definite edge to his voice now, one that made her feel like she was the one being interviewed when it needed to be the other way around.
Summoning a wicked grin she leaned back, resting her arms on the sides of the chair, trying to display casual confidence as best she could. “I’m not really sure I should name names, Thomas.”
He leaned back as well. “Ah, I see. Well, that’s probably a good idea considering that talking about this place is sort of against the rules unless you’re bringing a play partner.”
“Security is important.”
“It is. May I ask if it was a man or a woman that invited you?”
“You may, but I don’t have to answer.” The flirtation was finally back in her voice, and she bit her lip as he smiled slowly.
“What if I wanted to spank that bit of information out of you?” Those eyes were on hers, and she tried to stifle the sudden intake of breath.
Be calm. Be confident. Act like you belong.
“You could try, Thomas.”
“Feisty girl.” Chuckling, he broke their gaze to let his eyes wander the room. The sounds of sex were coming from somewhere, the slap of skin and moans and groans, combined with a chorus of leather cracking, the clatter of chains, and the buzz of conversation – all overlaid atop that low thrumming music that seemed to call to all the basest needs of humanity. “So, before we get started we can have one drink to relax and get to know each other a bit. What would you like?”
Before we get started… right.
Maddie shifted in her seat, turning to look back at the incredibly well-stocked bar. “One drink?”
“Just one, you need to be clear headed and so do I.”
“Of course.” She smiled and blew out a breath, going for an old favorite. “I’d love a cape cod, it’s vodka and cranberry and -”
“Lime. I know the drink.” Thomas pushed up from his seat. “Just a moment, I’ll be right back. Why don’t you think of some of your favorite kinks so we can discuss them when I return?”
“Sure.” Maddie said it confidently, but internally she was a ball of knots and anxiety. Kinks? What the fuck was she supposed to say to him? Looking around she wished she had her phone so she could quickly google some BDSM terms, because relying on what she’d heard in movies and read in a few books was probably not going to get her very far – and it may not even be accurate.
Shit.

I’m so excited to be working on this book so I can get it all out to you in time! I’m diving back in, but I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, and wish you all the best time with friends and family.

Thankful Thursday
Oh, lovelies, it’s Thankful Thursday and just a few days before Christmas and Hannukah! If you’re anything like me you’ve been running around like crazy trying to do your normal to-do list (like work, writing, etc) and every other thing you may need to do for the holiday season. I was up until after midnight trying to get some word count in on Black Light: Exposed because that deadline is looming like a nightmare just beyond the beautiful, sparkling Christmas lights! Yikes! That’s why I think this particular hottie channels something we all need, a nice nap. Anyone else want to imagine just curling up with him for a few minutes (or hours)? I know I do! Tell me what you’ve been up to!

#WIP Wednesday isn’t dead & Maddie might be in over her head!
First things first, lovelies. The incredible Meredith O’Reilly has decided to take up the mantle on the #WIP Wednesday blog hop and she will be reviving it in January!! YAY!! Read more about her generosity and general fantasticness over on her blog: here.
Now, today’s snippet is another sneak peek of my upcoming book ‘Black Light: Exposed’. It’s the 2nd book in the Black Light series, and the first one by Livia Grant, ‘Black Light: Rocked’, is out right now so you can dive into this kinky underground BDSM club without having to wait until January. This scene started on my last bloghop on #SatSpanks where Maddie found her way into the secret room beneath Runway, and met the very attractive, very interesting Thomas Hathaway. He’s her knight in shining armor for choosing her as his guest and keeping security from booting her out – the only problem is that Maddie thinks she’s about to walk into a gambling den…
—
“Please remember, there is no technology allowed inside. This includes phones, wearable devices, recording devices, and anything mechanical that is not medical in nature.”
Guess they were serious about stopping cheating, which meant there had to be some major money being exchanged behind that door.
Ka-ching, ka-ching.
“Thank you.” Thomas nodded before turning that intense gaze on her again as he tucked his wallet away and pulled out his phone. “So, we’re sharing a locker since you’re my guest, but I want to make it clear that if you want to leave all you have to do is tell me. I’ll bring you back out here to get your things immediately. Alright?”
“That works for me!” She followed him over to the locker that had its door ajar, and pulled her phone out of her purse. Thomas had already laid his phone inside and was removing an Apple watch while he looked her up and down.
“We’ll talk more once we’re inside and have a seat, but I just don’t want you to feel like you owe me anything. I bought the guest pass because I want to get to know you better, and while I’d love to play with you, it’s not an obligation.”
Maddie rolled her eyes before she thought about it. “I promise, I’m fine.”
Did this guy think she’d never played poker before? Did she really look that sheltered?
Thomas laughed low as his eyes roamed slowly over her curves. “Wonderful. No more technology under that nice dress?”
“No. Why, do you want to check?” Looking up at him she knew her cheeks were burning bright from the situation, the flirtation, and the fact that her offer wasn’t an innocent one. He was hot, and it had been way too long since she’d even had a date, if he wanted to pat her down she’d let him in a heartbeat.
“Maybe in a bit.” He answered softly and then offered her his hand and she took it, the next door popping open as they approached. There was low, wordless music coming from the room beyond, with soft, warm lighting – and then Thomas pulled the door wide and Maddie realized the error she’d made.
It was most definitely, unequivocally not gambling hiding underneath Runway.
What the fuck had she just gotten herself into?
—
Ohhhhh, boy. Maddie is in a bit over her head walking into Black Light with the deliciously dominant Thomas Hathaway, but I think she might find she has a kinky side. Keep coming back for more snippets to see what she finds out beneath Runway, and how all of those elite in Washington, D.C. might just be what she needs to get her dream job as a reporter for the Post!

If possible, he was even more devastatingly handsome than ever before. He hadn’t taken the time to shower or even change after the show. His thick hair and muscular arms glistened with sweat from the exertion of his art. It had been surreal to watch the concert on the television knowing he was performing just two stories below her.
A full minute of silence went by as the old friends sized each other up. The anger in his eyes hadn’t diluted so when he took a step closer, her boot stepped back out of self-preservation. The old friends danced a silent two-step; each move Sam made was choreographed to keep as much distance between them as possible.
“Since when are you afraid of me?” His voice was foreign to her.
“I’ve never met you. You’re a whole different person, Cash.”
She’d said the words to shock him, hoping he’d stop scaring the shit out of her. It didn’t work.
“I’m exactly who you made me into, Miss Stone.”
“Stop calling me that.” She wasn’t sure why it bothered her, but she somehow knew he meant it as a slur.
“Why? It’s your name, isn’t it? Or did you already get married? Daddy get you married off to a nice stiff from the country club yet?”
“Not yet. For some odd reason I’ve resisted his matchmaking efforts. Maybe that was a mistake.”
“Oh baby, I’m sure it was. I expected you to be living the high life, ruining people’s lives at a breakneck speed by now.”
Samantha felt her fear fleeing, replaced with bubbled-up anger. “What the hell is wrong with you? If anyone should be angry here, it’s me. You’re acting like I set out to ruin your life when instead, I’d think you could at least say you’re sorry if you’re not going to say thank you.”
“Thank you?! What the fuck do I have to thank you for, Samantha?” At least he’d used her first name, even if he had said it like it was a curse.
“Oh, I don’t know. Maybe the fact that you’re a Grammy-Award-winning, multimillionaire musician.”
He was closing the distance between them one step at a time, careful not to spook her and make her run, although she had nowhere to go. Her brain was screaming to put more distance between them, but her other body parts were being drawn into his magnetic field, just like the old days.
If anything his green eyes got darker. “Even if I do have success, why the hell would I thank you for that? I have what I have because I worked hard for it. I had to overcome all the bullshit obstacles thrown at me by you and your fucked up family so thank you? No. More like fuck you.”
It was worse than she ever dreamed. Not only was Jonah gone, but Cash Carter was a jerk. She decided she needed to let him know.
“You’re a real asshole, you know that, Cash?”
It wasn’t much, but she saw the small flinch at her use of his stage name. It gave her the courage to press on. “I never should have come here tonight. It was a mistake.”
“Hell yeah, it was. Why’d you come, anyway?”
The sadness of losing the last trace of her best friend threatened to weaken her to tears. She fought to stay strong. She didn’t want him to see how hurt she was.
“I was curious, I guess. I live in D.C. now and I mistakenly thought fate might have finally brought us back together when I realized you were going to be playing just a few blocks from my apartment.”
She should have shut up then. She’d already said too much, but he was moving closer and she had circled around the couch and was close to being cornered by the advancing, angry man.
The words just kept falling out of her mouth, “Maybe I came because I mistakenly missed my friend. I wanted a glimpse of what your life was like. To see what you looked like having everything you ever dreamed of.” Emotion had her choking to get the final words out.
His wicked laughter at her distress brought tears to her eyes as he spewed, “That’s funny, Sam. What would you know about my dreams?”
Her anger was deserting her, leaving her deflated. “I used to know everything.”
He was almost close enough to reach out and touch her. She was relieved when he didn’t as he spewed his next angry rant. “Used to is right. You don’t know shit anymore.”
She tried to rally her anger again. “I can see that. At least your new name suits you. What a fool I’ve been. Missing you. Wishing things had turned out different for us.”
“There never was an us. Your father and uncle saw to that.”

Unf. Things are about to get hot and heavy between these two and you will LOVE it! Having already read this book, I have to tell you that the entire book is full of that sexy, bad-boy rocker angst, but still accompanied by that sweet touch that Livia Grant can somehow weave into everything. She can pluck at your heartstrings even when someone is wielding a bullwhip (seriously, I teared up in a scene where someone was using a bull whip because of emotions!). I’m so excited that this book is out!

The prequel to the whole series is out too, and ‘Infamous Love’ is where you meet Jaxson, Chase, and Emma who play pretty important roles in the entire Black Light series, since they start the club and interact with pretty much all the characters at one point or another. So, if you haven’t read that one, hurry and snag it too!

Keep a look out for sneak peeks of book 2 from me… ‘Black Light: Exposed’ is coming in January!
