Sienna screamed, full of frustration and raw anger, and he smiled at her as he let his shirt fall open. He gave her a few seconds to relax, but instead she turned to him, meeting his eyes full-force, and shouted, “Go fuck yourself!”
Alexander’s eyes went wide before he licked his lips and moved close to her, well-aware of the sudden gathering of people drawing closer to the tank so they could see what was happening. He kept his voice low, just for the two of them, and her breath caught as he reached her, halting the angry panting. “I plan on fucking you, little one. I plan on fucking you until you scream for me, just like that, but you have absolutely not earned it yet.”
“You’re an asshole,” she hissed, also quiet enough that their audience couldn’t hear her, but all he wanted to do in that moment was kiss her. Sienna was so much more than she appeared. A veritable firestorm underneath her cool, calm exterior.

Okay, lovelies, it’s time to rally around one of our own and give some stellar support to my amazing author friend, my ‘Step Brothers’ quoting amazing Nighthawk, Sara Fields. It is the same book as before, but now people can actually find it again.
What does this mean? ‘Wedded to the Warriors’ is just as awesome as it was when it was ‘Claimed by the Savages’ and if you read the previously titled version it would help her out a lot if you could go and add a review to the new book on how you feel about it, because she obviously lost all of her reviews / rankings / etc when they had to rebrand the book. No matter what though, let’s show her some author-to-author love and share the hell out of this! #MusicMonday – Learn to Drive

It’s #MusicMonday and I have an amazing story to accompany today’s song ‘Learn to Drive’ by Arth & Arth. So, I get my book covers from a variety of places but one of the spots I love to browse is http://goonwrite.com/, the guy who runs it is named James and I’ve been randomly buying covers from him for years (he did the Lethal Sin & Early Sins covers!). Anyway, many many months ago when we were chatting about something, he mentioned that he and his brother had been working on some music and offered to let me hear some. I readily agreed (as we all know, I love music) and he sent me the mp3 of ‘Learn to Drive’ (which you can scroll down and play from soundcloud while you hear the rest of this story!). Now, I think I listened to it once or twice when I first got it, and then kind of forgot that I had it – also my brain is a sieve on most days and so remembering random events like this is a challenge even when I’m not stressed.
So, many moons pass and it’s late one night and I’m trying to find a particular song by another artist I love and as I’m doing a search for mp3s on my computer I come across one that is simply titled ‘Learn to Drive’. Curious, I go ahead and hit play, and instantly I’m drawn in by the style of music. It’s totally dreamy, and has this spoken word element (that I really love in songs), and I kept getting pulled back in by the lyrics as I was looking for the other song. Then – I tried to find it online, (this was about a month ago now), and I could not find a trace of it. I checked the metadata for the mp3 and found nothing, searched lyrics, uploaded it to music finder services, asked my author friends to help me… and we all came up blank. I resigned myself to just enjoying the song whenever it came up in a playlist on iTunes (because it was not on spotify) and decided I had somehow obtained this weird song and its origins would be lost to obscurity.
Then, on January 30th I got the GoOnWrite.com newsletter and browsed it, saw that he was referencing a band he and his brother started and asking everyone to support them by following on Spotify/Soundcloud so that he and his brother could claim their pages. I (obviously) went on to Spotify support him, and the fourth song down on the album was ‘Learn to Drive’. I froze for a second, bewildered, and then hit play and IT WAS THE SAME DAMN SONG.
Immediately I emailed James back, fangirled all over him for how much I’d loved the song, relayed my ridiculous loss of memory and my late night search for the song over a month ago now. He thought this was hilarious, and so did I, and THAT is why I knew ‘Learn to Drive’ had to be the song for #MusicMonday this week. It was destiny. Also, I really think you’re going to love their music, there’s a lot of different styles on the album. Most of the songs remind me of a mix of Depeche Mode, Smashing Pumpkins, and a bit of singer/songwriter genre. Anyway, I love this song, and my 2nd favorite is definitely ‘At a Time’ that is super Smashing Pumpkins circa Melancholy & the Infinite Sadness which was my obsessive album for a full year when I was a teen.
Anyway, enough about my story, I want to share the lyrics I loved below, but I also want you to take a minute and follow them so they can take control of their pages! Ask Me Anything: Author Star of the Week for Spanking Romance

For a variety of reasons, today’s post isn’t a question. 1) No one asked me any this week! What’s up guys? 2) Between my mom being in the hospital and getting ‘Black Light: Valentine Roulette’ ready for ARC release, I was pretty insanely busy. And 3) I did get asked something this week, but it was to fill out an interview sheet for Amelia Smarts! The Spanking Romance group selected me as their Author Star of the Week, and I was very excited to be chosen! ^_^

★ Favorite or most current book published, and why are you showcasing this book? / what makes it your favorite?
I hate to pick favorites, I mean that’s so hard, so I’m just going to go with my most recent individual release. It’s ‘Black Light: Exposed’ and it’s my full-length novel in the Black Light Series started by Livia Grant (she wrote the prequel, and Book 1). Exposed is Book 2 and I just loved it because it let me have so much fun with the story. Maddie is an aspiring reporter who gets a chance to work at The Washington Post if she can bring her friend a great story, and so she investigates the dance club ‘Runway’ and ends up discovering the BDSM club downstairs ‘Black Light’. Thomas Hathaway, a very sexy / very dominant congressman, ends up being the way she gets inside, and she does find one hell of a story – but if she publishes it she’ll definitely lose Thomas. What unfolds is a dramatic, BDSM romance that I just loved.
It’s an exciting world to get into because we’re about to release ‘Black Light: Valentine Roulette’ on February 10th which is a boxset with eight USA Today and international bestselling authors, all writing about their own couple at the same event on the same night. It was an intense writing endeavor, but based on the feedback from our ARC reviewers it’s going to be a hit!

★ Tell us one thing interesting about yourself or your writing career: I’m active in the BDSM lifestyle, and have been for over a decade. Many of the things I write about I’ve done myself and I think that adds a dose of realism to the otherwise fantasy-ridden world we love to write in when it comes to erotic romance. My Dom also loves to read my books, which is both a good thing and a bad thing, because sometimes I give him ideas! Haha!
★ How often and how much do you write: I have a full-time day job, a family, and a lot of other personal obligations, and so I generally write late at night. I’m a terrible insomniac, so it’s not strange to see posts/tweets from me at 1am in the morning. I’m also a full-on pantser and so I write very fast (when I get the time to write). There have been weekends where I’ve put out over 20k words, much to the chagrin of some of my author friends!
★Bio / Tell us about yourself:
My official bio is below, but I’ll just add that I live in Texas and I’m a complete nerd. I played video games hardcore until I started writing, I still play DnD with friends, and I love being a geek.

I’m attending ‘A Dark & Seductive Affair’!

Sienna bit down on her cheek as she felt him working the clip of the bow into her hair, positioning it just above her ponytail. The click of it locking in place bothered her more than she expected. She liked humiliation, liked being shoved around, slapped, spat on, pissed on, talked down to – but this? This felt like someone trying to turn her into something she wasn’t.

I really loved writing the internal struggle inside of Sienna in this story. Writing a Daddy Dom was a challenge for me (one I voluntarily chose in this boxset), but it was much easier to get into Sienna’s head and feel her fight between wanting to be the good submissive she sees herself as, and rebelling against Alexander’s insistence on treating her like a Little for the night. Their conflict, and how Alexander uses it to draw Sienna out of her shell, is just fun in my opinion. What’s great is every author did something like that. We all challenged each other to push ourselves, and I think we more than rose to the challenge. Less than two weeks to go! Valentine Roulette will be here on 2/10!
